Based on Burnout Paradise, you can no longer assume that ... Depends on the skills of the developer, and which was the primary development platform.
Fish, I'm just going with the flow. I have no idea why it's on pre-order so early. But I don't think the distributors could start taking pre-orders without Microsoft's permission. The link is to a pre-order page on Xbox.com. Microsoft is not a bystander here.
Is there more to the early pre-order than Amazon and Gamestop getting some early money for the books, who am I to say.
More than any conspiracy theory, where's all the emotion coming from?
Is Microsoft so scared of Sony's '08 potential they want to remind everyone they're not dead, yet...? I mean, how many people will pre-order anyway? There has to be another reason.
Let the conspiracy theories begin ...
PS2 users up for graps. Who is going to get them?
Need price and benchmarks...
I'm really looking forward to this, but, and I just noticed it in this video, Formula 1 cars drifting? Even in an arcade racer, Formula 1 cars drifting? O.o
This guy is clearly a paper tiger. There are many, many reasons the Mac is inappropriate for the enterprise. From Scalable Directory services to GPOs, OEM availability and pricing ... etc., etc., ...
How original..
Just my opinion, I bought PAIN. It's neat, good looking, performs well, but the novelty wears off pretty quickly. It a good diversion, stress reliever, but don't look for much depth or challenge.
So to anwer your question, is it worth $10, in my opinion, no. Is it decent secondary bundle material, yes.
The DTS-HD MA and TrueHD lossless compression formats can deliver full 24/48 master quality audio in about the same bandwidth and space as LPCM at lower 16/48 fidelity.
That means same studio quality lossless audio in less space which is why Bluray's use it. More extras, less space needed for audio.
Keys being best available lossless audio quality in less space.
Someone who listenst to Pantera calling someone's music garbage.... Now that does more to support "To each his own" than just about anything else anyone could say.
Interesting. I don't know either one and am not a big GTA guy. I think GTA and Saints Row are a little thuggish for my tastes... but given the reaction, I wonder if the music could hurt the game...
Tomato firmware is fantastic. Felt like I got a new router when I installed.
The Xbox failure rate went from statistical fluke to numerical fact a long time ago. With most other products a 16% failure rate would be unnaceptable. The product would be branded a faulty product. Fortunately for MS, the faulty machines don't hurt anyone or start fires and the games are really, really good.
That's one reason not adding a Bluray disc to the current Xbox is a good idea. Video game goes out, I can wait. High Def Bluray player goes out.... what the hell...
...
Hardcore Rap isn't my thing either, but I'm not sure, if you play GTA, how you could be shocked that it has this type of music in it???
Unfortuantely Amazon.com delayed my order until April....
I believe it. But, here's the difference. I've had 1 Playstation 3, I've had 4 XBoxes due to failure. The problem isn't failures or warranty. It's the percentage and frequency.
If my PS3 goes out, I'll be disappointed and get it repaired. But I have no reason to believe it will fail. It has been silent and reliable.
I fully expect my Xbox to fail as all others have. I haven't had any problem with the new design (motherboard with HDMI) but I'm still skeptical due...
I don't that the primary complainers are PS3 fans. I got 3 RRoDs before I sold my 4th Box to buy the new arcade model with HDMI. I have not had a single problem with the new mobo w/HDMI. But the guy I sold my last good Xbox too did get RRoD a few weeks ago. His got turned around pretty quick.
The problem actually isn't the Warranty or Customer Service. Console Warrantys have never been very long or generous and Customer Service is always bad when the people are getting bombarde...
that's pretty sweet...
