I think it's obvious the Sony ad was an attempt at art. The stark contrast between the white white, woman, and the black black woman. The existing PSP is black, the new one being advertised is Black. I think it's a well made ad, but given America's societal problems, I can see how some would be offended. The real problem isn't the Sony ad, it's American Society.
Considering how the Nazis slaughtered Poles like pigs during WWII, I doubt, hope, it was not racist. Just a dumb decision by less sophisticated/experienced marketing staff. They probably just learned how to PhotoShop.
Since there aren't many if any blacks in Poland (they did not import slaves)discrimination probably never crossed their mind. If it was a Jew they blotted out, then we have a problem.

That says a lot abut Xbox Live!, Gears, Halo, and XBLA.
Plus, Microsoft did a great job extendign the warranty and paying for shipping along with great tracking and customer service. Any budding Business Administrators should study how they handled it.
Having said that, I would like a 360 Slim that is as quiet as the PS3. I have a dedicated Blu-ray player that bitstreams (slim a little too late for me) but it would still be nice to have Blu-ray in the 360 with HD...
I bought it. Don't think you should steal it but, hey, they left the glitch and should fix it quick. The developers of this game should be rewarded for their work. $15 is just right for this. Hey, we want them to put the same effort into some DLC. If you make a mistake at work, do you still want to get paid?

This game came out of nowhere. I've been waiting for a great, rendered, platformer, and this exceeds. It's an insult to the hobby to attack this one with fanaticism.
Apple will go through the same thing Microsoft went through with XP 64. Their problems are mostly over now. I own both and the fanboyism is silly. Both have pros cons, and Macs hang-up and lock. They are safer on the net, for now anyway. Windows UI is more efficient but with a little work the Dock comes close, in some ways better, some worse. Of course, you can actually change icons on the Mac ;)
Without a doubt, PS3 is cheaper, quieter, and has better HD sound. Unfortunately, PSN still isn't in Live!'s league. $50 is a steal for the entertainment. Blu-ray is a big plus but to be honest, since I got Netflix on Xbox AND my dedicated Blu-ray (it has better quality and outputs bitstream to my receiver) player, I haven't touched Blu-ray in weeks (I was in the update preview beta).
I also think PSN isn't close to XBLA yet either. Not having Shadow Complex for at least a year d...

The only announcement I needed was that Shadow Complex was available today. Went online from work to xbox.com, bought it. Will be there ready to play when I get home.

Hmmm, if your'e going to try to be educated about it, you'll have to look at the socioeconomic statistics of crime and ask why blacks are disproportionately in the economic groups that commit crime. It is an endless cycle with no point other than personal responsibility.
The fact is black people have more to fear from black criminals than anyone else. The average gun owner, who kills cops, is a 30-year old white guy with issues.

I don't know that there weren't "any" black Spartans. Nubians got around back then. You have to remember, black/white racism is an American creation as we know it today. Take Egypt, they had no concept of black/white. There was just Egyptian, and others. There were black, white, and in-between Pharohs.
The black/white thing was created to justify American Slavery.
Why did this story get approved? There's plenty of real racism and discrimination in the whole world. It's nothing new. Stories like this are just, damaging.

Here's the problem. If you make all the Heroes black, white guys will be disinterested in playing the game. Video game developers will go broke. Games like Gears are great and hopefully the future, you have black, white, mexican, and redneck. Everybody's happy. Asians can stay in all the Ninja games.

But for the record, Asians who were held in the nicest concentration camps in history here in America during WWII, did whine and complain and they have received reparations. Cold hard cash. Our tax dollars. Maybe that's why they're not crying anymore. Being Asian as you stated, you are quite conveniently unaware of this, hmmmm. Interesting.
