I don't believe you because the worranty for RROD is 3-years. If you have another problem, it is out of warranty. And consoles usually have 90-days. MS is well beyond that and after an RROD repair you have another 6 months warranty.
Again, if it just broke after two years, send it in and pay just like PS3 and Nintendo. If it's RROD the warranty is 3-years and they will fix and ship it free and give you 1-month Live! for the trouble.

Not sure he needs to eliminate KZ3, the other Halo's didn't need to eliminate any of the other Killzone's from the equation. Until Killzone proves mightier than Halo, I think it's a fair statement.

That would be interesting. Price will still be a major factor too and in that regard, It hink Sony has the advantage. They "should" be able to produce the Cell for next to nothing by then with only minor enhancements. I think MS will be the one burdened with the expensive CPU next-gen. The current processor isn't going to cut it next round.
I do think GOW3 is overrated. But it has a huge loyal fanbase, what are you gonna do. Never played nor intend to play HR or KZs. LBP waasn't overrated, it just isn't for big kids after the novelty wears off. I really wanna do the Wolverine Marvel sackboy but, I just can't do it man. It's too childish, the Saturday Morning narration when you start out kind off kills it from the get go.

I think it will be a mistake for Sony to wait and let MS get another year or more headstart on the next gen. Blu-ray hasn't made a diffrence this gen, MS still has the biggest franchises this gen. So the Xbox 360 is reaching the end of it's life this gen (It'll clearly hold till 2012), all that means is that they'll get a headstart for the next gen too.
All they really lack is high density storage. And by 2010, who knows what the HD storage of choice will be...

The end-user ends up paying for it. Just like any OS license. Sony does pay a Windows Mobile license which is why they only have the Xperia Windows Smartphones. Will be interesting to see if they release a Windows Phone 7 device.
Prolly won't be today's Blu-ray at 50GB. Going to a newer revision with higher capacities will even the playing field. There's really no need until 2012. With Crysis next year, the current 360 will have enough legs to make it through 2011 with Blu-ray still doing no meaningful damage except making devs work harder.

You're right. I'm bored with Zombie Apocalypse. Didn't even get all the achievements or trophies. And now, I don't want to play anymore but I enjoyed every minute I did play.
This looks better than Zombie Apocalypse and will probably sound better too. Hopefully it will have more diverse environments. I'm sure I'll only play for a couple weeks before I get bored but I'm goint to enjoy that two weeks and for $9.99, I'm in. Less than what I paid...

2pac (exactly 1 good acting job), Ice Cube (Friday was good but ...), come on now. New Jack was waay back. T's been doing great for what 10 seasons of Law and Order: SVU.
But it really is bad form for him to say abad things about another game when he's doin' Gears 3. It's going to be cool to have T' in Gears' but this is just wrong.
Never really paid much attention to Metacritic and I'm not sure who does besides apparently Sony. If they actually gave LBP 95 and Gears 1 94, I never will pay much attention to them.
