Have you ever considered some people like it and take it. Some people, can afford it, and prefer and exclusive service with a real user interface and lots of meaningful non-game content. A community, in which it is easy to completely isolate yourself and your kids from the low-lifes that find their way onto both services, but in much higher droves and lower levels of degradation on the "free" service.
I'm happy to pay to be away from them. I rarely sign on to ...
This article is lame. The people are that good looking to me. They're not fat for sure. And what's wrong with that. When's the last time you saw fat or ugly people in any advertisement? Gimme a break.
Please define "core" 360 fan, or "core" PS3 fan for that matter.
And who's defining it? You? Sony? Microsoft?
It's all a bunch of bullshit. If you want it, buy it. If you don't don't. I don't think anyone really worries about what other people are doing in their homes, nor should any gamer worry about what some other gamer thinks.
If it was on the PC, it wouldn't be blurry (aliasing).
Edit: Other than the blurriness/softness of the graphics, there is a lot that is quite interesting. If you master the controls you can put together some great highlight sequences. Not sure how much more there is than that though.
Consuming more calories than you burn causes obesity. Nothing else.
@Aloren
The lead male character looks asian (of asian descent), the over the top big shoulder costumes. All the flowing scarves. Thin swords more samurai/baynetta than Conan/Diablo. Not very dungeon siege to me.
I prefer to go dungeon crawling as a barbarian, not a samurai. That's just me. If they keep the Anime look/feel it will definitely be more popular on the PS3.
(edit: There's nothting wrong with the JRPG overhaul, it does...
+1
Is it me or does it have a JRPG look and feel?
I'm sure they've been working on XBL for Windows Phone 7 since the Avatars will be on the phone and have interactivity. The built in phone flashlight will use the Avatar. Not necessary but I can see how a developer might have wanted to do it. Clearly, they're happy to be getting paid to be doing what they're doing. They're just not doing what most of us want them to be doing.
ROFLMAO, those screens have clearly been sharpened. I wish the game has visuals that sharp, on either platform. Truth be told, the PS3 seem a tad bit blurrier. But it's not the fault of either console.
Must be your 360. Neither PS3 or Xbox has any framerate or any other issues. That's probably the reason for the sub-par visuals, at least to me.
Game play is great if you can accept the blurries.
Edit: normally these things are just specs on paper but in this game it's apparent from the word go.
Don't believe anything you read here about the 360 having framerate issues. It's fantasy. They're both identical.
Played it on both PS3 and Xbox. Both play just as smooth. My problem is both have blurry visuals. Doesn't bother some, but I can't do it.
Unfortunately graphics are not crips on either platform. I thought the PS3 would fare better, but it may be even slightly more blurry, that's standing still. Both consoles are capable of better.
Lots of potential. I'm not into resolutionitis, but the graphics need to be crisp, this is not.
I'll pay $100/annually if they throw in unlimited Zune streaming. It'll be a helluva lot cheaper than cable.
Just tried the demo. Lots of potential. Gears cover system feels tighter. Better than I thought it would be but, noticeably blurry. Unacceptably blurry.
Bait & Switch, only they're being up front about it. I don't mind the increase, but these shady offers are troubling. Especially given hidden links to turn off auto-renewal. Turning on auto-renew is highlighted and clearly a clickable link on xbox.com. Turning it off is not highlighted, looks like normal text in the middle of a sentence. Designed to preven users from finding the ability to turn off autorenew.
Like I've said before, I don't mind the price...
Actually, I user 3 of those 4 things. The only thing I'm not interested in is Twitter. However, if the future of Live! is Kinect, Live! will quickly deteriorate. If Kinect becomes the focus of new features it will quickly cease to be worth the subscription.
Kinect is an option. One that I will pass on for the foreseeable futre.
Wasn't meant to be funny or insightful. It's fact. And it was in response to another Leon racist leaning "joke?"
Actually the poor inbred trash rednecks are broke just like the drug dealing crackhead ghetto rats that all play for free on PSN displaying the Swastikas, Klan Robes, Weed Bags, 9mm, and porn videos on PSN.
You still haven't responded to his suggestion that all these threads are started by and populated primarily by PS3 fanboys.
