I have little doubt that this feature will only be included in the single player campaign (just like the ability to drag teammates into cover). Can you imagine watching this in a MP game?
I crouch as I come over the hill toward control point alpha...
Up ahead, I hear a conflict going on, it's obviously a life or death struggle(I can tell by the cursing).
Looking over the hill, I see one of my squadmates, he's punching, he's kicki...
You can do that with a PC too. Sure it takes a Nasa engineer to hook up the HDMI from the back of your TV to the video card, and sure, PC's only support both PS3 and X360 controllers, but I see your point.
Yeah, and if you go AMD quad, rather than Intel, you can shave 2 or 3 hundred off your CPU estimate. A 955BE is $135, you really can't beat the price /performance ratio with anything that Intel makes.
Not on Frostbite 2.0. Get a clue, BF3 is way more technologically advanced than MAG, or Halo, or any of those console games. You get less players, you get smaller maps, you have MUCH less powerful systems, be glad you'll be able to play it at all.
Someone's jealous. And wrong. And rude.
Crysis 1 needed a super computer. Crysis 2 is actually much less demanding, basically because it was designed to run on your stupid little toy.
The first one was excellent. It captured the feeling of being an invincible unstoppable invisible force of destruction. Beautiful and immersive.
This one looks like the sucky one. I played the MP demo, it looked like turd.
Both consoles suck, and so do their cheerleaders, get a clue people, nobody wants to hear you justify your choice of platform. Especially when the differences are so negligible.
PC forever.
"I need to do better? Hiphop, where have you been? Modern Warfare 2 is the best selling game on next-gen consoles. Why should I have to sweat when I'm already on top?"
Please stop calling PS3 and X360 next-gen. If anything, they are past-gen.
This is the worst news I've heard this year... God forbid they give the sequel a chance, sometimes things take a while to take hold, but this game was unique enough to actually break big had they applied the lessons of the first game into the sequel (i.e. no cartoons). I still enjoy playing mirror's edge, there's really nothing else like it out there. I hope that this is a temporary setback.
This article is pure idiocy, though from an Australian perspective, so not very relevant... In the USA, just today, Obama has announced an initiative to have free wireless internet across the country in 3 to 5 years. Even if that's not totally practical, it's certainly not 40 years away. At least not based on the last 10 years.
Dude, the NVA has Punji sticks. This little blurb could hardly be called a review. Look out GI's Charlie's gonna get ya!!!
Dude, where's the boobs? She looks pretty sexy and all, but Croft has D cups, NOT B.
There's an enemy hiding in a building, I see him shooting out the window, sling out my 40mm, and launch at the wall. The wall stands & he takes no damage. When is this game going to get with the times? Adding zombies and wagers is like putting frosting on a 4 year old cake. Black Ops is meh.
I want destructible buildings like in BFBC2. That is all.
It's like watching two kids fight over which of their squirt guns is most powerful, when you're packing a firehose. PC gamers laugh at you both.
@ Blaster_Master That was a WHOLE lot of words. Wouldn't it just be easier to type, I don't know what I'm talking about?
I'd like to see you wrap your tiny mind around even one facet of game design. Because if it's too HARD for you to do it, then I think its' fair to call it hard work.
PS, DICE is awesome.
Provided they bought the game new, or bought it used, and paid for "VIP status".
They have officially run out of good ideas. MP is going to be a joke. Skip this! I'll be wait for Crysis 2.
This will Fuck.. You... Up... Press "A" to continue...
Fallout 3 was such a pleasant surprise. I didn't have much interest in it initially, but when Steam busted it out at 50% off, I was tempted enough to give it a try. I was so glad I did, I had a LOT of fun, and will eventually have to go back for a second playthrough (look out Megaton, I'm not feeling so charitable this time).
That will pass the time until this is also on sale for $25. I'm guessing the Steam Holiday sale will offer it up for a deal. Plus, the ga...
The special includes zero PC games, so it shouldn't be in the PC category. Also clicking the amazon link opens a nasty little spyware window. Fuck you Space Squirrell.
