Ehh, played the demo, it's pretty funny, but not very funny. The gameplay and graphics weren't too impressive, but the into movie was pretty cool. Kicking a field goal with the monsters eyeball was pretty hilarious too. I will eventually buy this, but it will be very cheap when I do.
LOL. Well one was a trailer, one was a gameplay sequence. Yes, the MW3 trailer showed hundreds of objects exploding like a Michael Bay trailer.
This tank footage is an actual gameplay segment, a setup leading to a massive tank battle. A well scripted game will have moments of extreme action and moments of calm. It's called pacing.
This is probably too sophisticated a concept for the most impatient of the ADD generation such as yourself. No biggy, get...
You lose all credibility when you type nonsense like this
"the latest cod engine looks way better than the other cods,"
The latest engine? It's the same engine. Do you even know the difference between a game engine with tweaked settings, and a whole new engine? Obviously not. Ha ha ha, I laugh at people who are ignorant.
Much happier crouching in a corner of an indestructible building taking potshots at enemy kneecaps?
If the games not for you, that's cool, we don't need any more CoD whiners on the Battlefield anyway.
I'm sure you do run 5 miles only to be shot and start over. You probably don't possess the mental facilities to get with a squad, load up in a vehicle, and accomplish an objective. Nope lame-O's like you don't belong in a game where te...
Yup, that card will be fine. If you've got a quad core CPU, you're golden.
Loved this video. From the animation to the destruction to Karkand, this game screams quality. Love those Swedes!
Cool cool cool, nice idea to separate controls for arming and switching kits.
"you Battlefanboys do realize that this is an optional service, right? they are adding MORE STUFF than they would in the actual game, and imo its definately worth a subscription knowing the type of content my boys at IW are pumping out."
LOL, this tool still think IW is making CoD. Uninformed and ignorant, about par for the course for anybody that thinks this subscription model is anything but a huge serving of fail chowder.
Seeing as how I am making a conscious decision to buy BF3, and have decided that I am not going to buy MW3. It seems they are competing for my money.
I understand the point you're trying to make, that they are different games with different styles of MP gameplay. However, you're talking about competition withing the gaming community. Many people buy BF games for tactical gaming, and CoD for twitch gaming. But some gamers (most) will often buy both games.

Those city shot's aren't bland and empty, did you see the sunset and skyline on that dusk shot? Insane looking. Yes, genius, the desert shots are bland and empty, because they're in an effin' desert, you troll. What do you expect, a lot of blues and greens? Duh, please don't buy or play BF3, I'd hate to have a troll like you on my squad.
As much as I love DICE, and want to see them succeed, I really don't want to steal the CoD players away from MW3. We've got enough of them in BFBC2, and they suck, because they don't understand teamwork.
Hmm, ancient Greece. I suspect we may get a little bit of Atlantis thrown into the mix.
Not this kid. The CoD games are too short on content and too high on price for my liking. Now they offer buggy PC multiplayer and nothing innovative from CoD4. I own CoD4, but haven't bought a CoD game since.
Battlefield series is better, smarter, more innovative, and much more fun.
100% guaranteed to not buy the next CoD.
Yup, it is the $59.99 version. The trick is you have to preorder. Buying it new after the release date means you'd have to pay extra for the "Strike at Karkand" expansion. It is included free with the pre-order, which is why it's a limited edition.
Source is a highly modifiable engine. Today's source engine is very different from it's original version. I would imagine they've got something pretty special up their sleeves, hell after a wait like this, it better peel wallpaper.
Most "hackers" have no "hacking capability" whatsoever (love that, sounds like Napoleon Dynamite). Most of them buy aimbots and wallhacks online. I could almost respect a player who had created his own hack, but these days, hackers are just losers who get off on ruining the experience for others.
BF2 had each map in 3 different sizes, and they were dependent on server size. So A server hosting 16 or fewer players would play on a scaled down version, adding 10 players would bump you up to medium map size, and 48 or more, you'd get the full scale map. With each version, control points would expand to spread out the warfare, God, I loved BF2, can't wait for BF3! *Squirt!*
People with consoles are so technologically ignorant, it really cracks me up. "My PS3 is a super gaming machine, it will be relevant for another decade easy!" Lol. It's an old piece of hardware, and console games suck. My PC has at least 5 times the processing power and double the GPU of your little toy.
Bring down the suits man. This is from a 38 year old who has watched our democracy fall to corporate interests. if you're not outraged, you're not paying attention.
Someday this battle will be waged in the streets. Think you'll be worrying about a video game company when there's an angry mob at your front door?
Yo, make sure PB is manually updated, then make sure your firewall is "allowing" BFBC2 and Pnkbstr A & PnkbstrB. That may fix yer prob.
