Whilst I agree, SoT is an incredible game and has really seen a turnaround from launch. It shouldn’t have launched in the state it did but it’s a great title and has been that way for years.
Infinite & Redfall though…yeesh.
Worst thing was them just entirely giving up on adding a promised feature in split-screen co-op & that was after the delays! Incompetency at 343 ran deep.
GamePass has pros and cons.
It’s a shame it gets so much bashing and a lot of the spins are false narratives like GamePass being bad for devs and gamers as a blanket statement.

A lot of recent games are disappointing as I feel that more often than not, developers/publishers rely on the fact they can push out fixes via patches and are eager to please investors and shareholders so the games get rushed out the door and fixed later.

Resi 6 was and still is the worst entry in the series.
7 was a great turnaround, despite people’s concerned about the switch to FP perspective.
DMC5 definitely helped the franchise after the whole DmC debacle. Whilst it was a decent action game, it was a far cry from the series and the characters we knew.

Bought this game at launch on PS5 and really couldn’t get into it. Thought the setting would be enough but the repetitive gameplay loop just got the better of me. Might give it another shot since I heard it had a bit content update recently.

Pro-Sony site I’m afraid, mate.
I’m not so invested in the argument regarding PS5 boot drives and I can see pros and cons with the controller batteries. For Xbox it was always a bugbear of mine to pay £50 for a controller then £20 to have the luxury of being able to recharge it.
Other side of the coin is that I’ve only ever had a controller battery deteriorate so much it can’t be recharged with a Wii-U pro contro...
