A segment as Gollum in a Hobbit game would be more enjoyable, at least for me.
Still looks terrible.
@Everton
🤡
To be fair he’s in a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation.
People were calling for him to address Redfall.
He addresses it and then the reaction is that he’s too busy doing interviews.
He’s a moron but he also can’t win with the demands of gamers flipping and flopping every two minutes.
Ahhh the olde 1-2, you can’t provide context here by referencing another incident. Both are price increases.
Actually, to use Mental Health as an insult just shows your level of maturity and frankly, you’re disgusting.
True.
It’s already hilarious seeing the spins of some of them here. Claiming Bungie have more independence.
Like mate, you’re dumb if you don’t think Sony knew or signed off on this.
But you all freaked out when Microsoft went to raise the price of GamePass.
Whilst I don’t agree with Microsoft trying to raise the price, have some consistency, make it make sense.
Sony does something: PS fanboys spin it “oh b-b-but Bungie are sooooo detached from Sony and remember it’s only $2 uwu”
Microsoft does something: PS fanboys “pitchforks at the ready, boys!”
@badz
Lol 😂
The stretching and moving of goalposts - you truly can’t make this stuff up.
Whilst it’s an opinion piece, it’s a pretty trashy opinion. 😂
You’re only kidding yourself on if you don’t think this site is a massive Sony fan haven.
At the end of the day, I see no issue with @Tyler’s comment and we have disagreed on things on the past.
It’s the same as many usual names on this site commenting about Xbox fans having downvote bots or naming certain Xbox fans before they’ve even commented on an article.
It goes both ways.
Imo @tyler was just preparing for the i...
Big wet slap in the face to all Xbox fans & staff at Xbox and their studios.
GG.
Well said, one game doesn’t define the service.
It’s a poor release and so was Halo but all of the usual suspects commenting about how the service has nothing are deluded.
GamePass has hundreds of titles, first and some third party releases day one.
It’s an excellent service and will truly shine IF/WHEN Xbox starts pumping out more (hopefully better) first party titles.
You know, for all the trash Forspoken got, I picked it up on sale last week and aside from the annoying script for the protagonist, the game is…surprisingly decent. The combat is pretty fun and the soundtrack is 👌
Interesting, the cheque from EA must have cleared when they skipped over JS issues recently.
@Flawless
I disagree, it seems that there’s only a difference because this is an Xbox title.
I’m glad you’re enjoying JS & I was interested in it until I read about the sly DRM alongside the performance issues on every platform, including PS5 which DF did a lengthy video on.
You know there’s a problem when the publisher doesn’t send review codes to DF, they can’t be paid off like some review outlets.
“If the issue...
@Welshy
I see your point but at the same time reviews should be transparent. They should note these issues because it’s not “the game will be good once patched”.
A review is the state of the game at launch,
We need to stop accepting mediocrity because that attitude is the exact reason we end up with games releasing in that state.
By the time games end up fixed, they’re cheaper to buy, so those day one adopters who hav...
IGN are inconsistent at best.
Not defending the Redfall review, it’s deserved.
But they gave Jedi Survivor a 9/10 but then after gamers got their hands on it and noticed the glaring bugs, they released a separate video addressing them. Really should have been mentioned in the initial review.
Can’t all be pinned on MS.
Game was in development at Arkane for years, they definitely have a part to play.
The “rushed it for GamePass” take would be more believable as the SOLE reason for the game’s state if the game didn’t suffer numerous delays.
@shredder
I disagree on that front as the OG Xbox and subsequent 360 were stellar consoles, whilst not without their faults, they introduced several new IPs and seemed to churn out a fair number of highly reviewed titles.
That’s not to take away from the PS2, the greatest machine of all time imo with the games to boot. Whilst I was an also day one purchaser of the PS3, I couldn’t help but feel the high price point and average release lineup (aside from Re...
Phil Spencer is the big boy, head honcho, man at the helm.
It’s like any business, when something major goes wrong, it’s not the delegates and underlings who are responsible, it’s the top brass.
Phil is the top brass.
Whoever takes over has their work cut out for them as there seems to be some major SOP issues deeply rooted in Xbox structure such as the manner in which the testing and internal reviews of Redfall were handled.
