I find myself buying and spending more time with MP games than SP but I haven’t found a MP game that has stuck aside from Hunt: Showdown.
I usually play them with a mate until we get bored of it and move on to the next. I get more of my money’s worth from MP games in terms of £/hr but in such an oversaturated market, not many MP games retain a strong following or get consistent support which results in an endless cycle of dis-satisfaction.

There’s no denying it’s a hard sell to the more casual audience but anyone who has considered VR at any point would do some research (I would hope) and see that the PSVR2 is more than worth the asking price.
Saw it today in GAME UK - had a fair few units in store, sure it was around £529.99
People just can’t read and tend to jump to conclusions. Half of the comments here are people who clearly haven’t read or watched the devstream but like to jump on a bandwagon.
No P2W.
Watch the dev stream before going into full blown panic.
Free battle pass has smouldering ashes which are used to buy temporary boosts and upgrades (none that will affect PvP) and is available to everyone with the boosts only available during any given season.
Paid battlepass is purely cosmetic with themed cosmetics based around the season, for example, season. 1 is allegedly zombie themed.

I agree with Destiny, it was poorly handled (and still is) with previously paid for content locked away. It’s a dreadful practice.
I do still feel it is relevant for the developers to openly discuss monetisation prior to a game release if the game is going to have things like this implemented. That way, consumers know what they’re getting and aren’t having the rug pulled out from under them like MW2 - monetisation now included pay to win mechanics...
Smouldering ashes - a currency of sorts used to buy upgrades - similar to any other battle pass that has currency in it: Dead by Daylight, MW, Fortnite, Apex, etc. though I do note that you can’t purchase a future BP with smouldering ashes. Similar to Destiny - you get Bright Dust but no silver that you can use to purchase the next pass.
Premium battle pass is exactly that. A paid battle pass, similar to the games listed above.
Accelerated battle pass is ...
Lol, why is it that when a reviewer gives a score that people don’t agree with they’re:
-“asinine”
-“doing it for clicks”
-“outwith the realm of rationality”
Like seriously?
Play the game yourself whilst make up your own mind.
Reviews are subjective yet ignoring/trying to discredit any review that doesn’t align with your own thoughts is just creating a little echo chamber filled with your own flavour or confir...
Absolute pants game.
Avoid like the plague.
The dev also came out on Twitter and addressed issues when the game launched and stated they’d put out fixes but have been radio silent ever since (aside from advertising their game and ignoring anyone asking for updates).

Injustice is great BUT I’m stuck with like one trophy left to get for using Cat Call to win a fight…the loot boxes and the way they implemented gear in Injustice 2 was awful. Spent a ridiculous amount of time on this trophy so far just hoping it would drop as an unlock.
What one had that? Was it Armageddon or Deception, definitely wasn’t Shaolin Monks? I remember playing one back in the PS2 that had stage transitions.
Reboot to go back to the roots with characters on the roster?
No expectation of newcomers like D’Vorah & such to be present and that way they can bring back Ermac and Baraka among others without just waving a magic wand.
Honestly, that would be ideal.
Lazy?
Gamer entitlement right here, folks.
Don’t like the product, don’t buy it.
There is no way they got lazy.
A house based points system would have been AMAZING but there would be so many branching pathways and the storyline would have to be altered depending on that, it would be a complete and utter headache to implement successfully.
First one was decent albeit a bit janky, so will definitely check this out.
Seriously didn’t even realise how good the PS offering was.
I’m on the highest tier but the only things I gravitate toward are the two monthly games.
It was only recently that I found how to properly browse the PS+ section on the dashboard and there’s a ridiculous amount of high quality content on there.
I own a good amount of them either physical or digital but still a great selection.
What a vile, small man.
No wonder he’s really pushing for this.
He’s never been for gamers, he is purely a businessman concerned only with himself rather than his company and employees.
@sadraiden
It has taken a nosedive in quality.
However, as you based your argument on sales numbers, let's take a dive, shall we?
"COD has literally never been more popular"
COD has literally been more popular.
See: MW2 sales numbers estimate to be at 8million copies sold at the end of 2022 (no official numbers released) yet Black Ops (2010) sits at a staggering 31million copies sold.

Killzone again pls 🥺
Why release new console generations if we’re going to keep holding them back with cross-gen titles only fully utilising the hardware in a select few titles and/or towards the final couple of years of its lifespan?
Last gen is two and a half years ago, time to move on given that gens are usually 5-7 years.
I’d say Horizon takes that title BUT for me, Rift Apart was the better and more enjoyable game. The portals really demonstrated the SSD speed.
