Watched a stream last night where they struggled to get past 30fps on the lowest resolution with all of the settings on low.
So at the moment I don’t think the choice really matters (at least on PC) until a patch or two is released.
“"iM cAlLiNg OuT faNbOyS" - Ok.”
“You are sincerely incapable of replying without insults.”
To say those aren’t attempts to insult would only be lying to yourself.
The fanboys coming at me certainly did. I made a comment, saying that this wasn’t a good look and it’s similar to what happened with NMS only to be attacked/dogpiled as usual on this site when you so much as insinuate negativity related with Sony.
“(unlike ...
Solid article.
Microsoft going to the PM is just hilarious.
The appeal won’t go through.
Pot meet kettle.
You’re the one who began being insulting.
Not deflections at all, I literally stayed a FACT that this is a similar instance that has already happened? No deflection at all. You Sony fanboys are terribly fragile that anyone who dares to say anything slightly negative, regardless of how truthful, about Sony and you immediately exclaim “Xbox fanboy” and dog pile them with your keyboard warrior insults and sarcasm.
Do better and stop...
Microsoft would be lucky if the Xbox division still has 10 years left in the tank….
@behind
“As usual, nothing but hot air and petty insults. I’ll converse with Onilink since he doesn’t lack the capacity to actually have an adult discussion, particularly as you refuted absolutely nothing I said. “
Pot…meet…kettle, anyone?
All you do is deflect & mock - you’re projecting hard, my guy.
Have an adult discussion 😂
You’re incapable of holding one yourself, sweetheart.
Good one.
Yea this is an issue for Bethesda and Microsoft?
Where did I say it wasn’t? Clown.
Pathetic attempt at moving goalposts. 🤷♂️
Also sporting some glitched trophies too…
Glitched trophies: 4
Splurgle is unobtainable for everyone because of a Priorite Shard not spawning in Rambler’s Reach Outpost on Koboh, making the platinum trophy, The Jedi Survivor also unobtainable.
Trophy Perk of the Job is glitchy for some but fine for others. They’re Probably Fine is also a little buggy.
Shame, the game looks great but more and more games are releasing ...
The trouble is, fragile fanboys look for an attack.
It’s not an attack, this is literally the same thing whereby a feature was promised, cases were rushed to production and discs printed and then….oh no, it’s not ready yet.
Literally the same thing from a consumer standpoint. Feature promised. Feature unavailable. Publisher putting stickers on a box to cover it up.
That’s all it was, but as per usual people are so insecure and scream “you’re an X...
@Poop
Not a fanboy, but I do note your blatant sexism in the derogatory “fangirl” comment. Do better.
I actually prefer the PlayStation ecosystem. It’s just funny how all of you fanboys jump to slate Xbox on ANY article and call out stuff from years ago yet when all I said was mention that this is the same issue as No Man’s Sky (which it absolutely is) you can’t handle it and use b-b-but it was years ago so it’s ok and this isn’t a PS article so shh.
Yep - 95% of this site’s user base are so fragile and want to justify their console of choice at every turn so they tend to get really petty about review scores. 😂
Confirmation bias like no other.
You clearly didn’t read.
I’m calling out the hypocrisy of all you Sony fanboys. Rush to Xbox articles or complain about Xbox on non Xbox articles but as soon as someone tells the truth and mentions a RELATED instance, you get all defensive.
@Everton
Time doesn’t matter, it happens.
You say that as if you Sony fanboys don’t jump to talk about Xbox on every article, related or not.
Stop excusing stuff for PlayStation if you’re chastising Xbox for it - be consistent. 😂
Come on, don’t live in denial.
This is the exact same issue as No Man’s Sky - at least have some consistency with your gamer rage.
Yeesh, this is just embarassing.
Just shows they’ve rushed and pushed the deadlines a little too tight.
Sooo unprofessional. Almost as bad as the sticker on No Man’s Sky boxes covering the online features that Sean Murray lied about. At least Hello Games has redeemed themselves somewhat.
Yep, it’s a strange trend, which Ubisoft are pretty bad for as well. Whilst this game is good as das as asymmetrical multiplayer games go, it’s a far cry from game of the year.
People tend to get very defensive about reviews and disregard anything that doesn’t align with their hopes for a game.
At that point, is it a review or is it just confirmation bias?
Play the game and make your own mind up.
If you’re excited for a title, like genuinely excited, best thing to do is avoid reviews because if you read/hear a negative thing, you’re more likely to notice it during gameplay and it can hamper your experience.

Hopeful outlook: they cut their losses, re-group and focus on properly managing studios, IPs and pumping investment into releases.
Reality: Will probably waste years and a ridiculous amount of money on pursuing this fruitless endeavour thus leaving the ninth generation Xbox consoles with paltry and average releases (with the odd shining star in Hi-Fi Rush - credit where it’s due).
