@Lab
The denial is strong with this one, I wouldn’t bother. Such a poor example given with their mental gymnastics.
You’re absolutely correct, you can be impressed or unimpressed based on a trailer. That’s what a trailer is for…to showcase a product, to get attention, captivate audiences and generate hype. Sadly, none of the CGI trailers on offer generated hype.
Agreed, Sony definitely learned from that mistake imo, despite Wolverine and Spider-Man 2. They aren’t as bad for announcing too early as they used to be.
Why mention Xbox on a PS article?
This is the problem with some PS fans, they justify disappointment by deflecting to Microsoft every time.
Drip feeding info doesn’t necessarily correlate to a limited roster. It’s just tiresome, but you’re right, we don’t always get what we want and everyone’s preferences are different.
This drip feeding of info is a bit tiring.
Would rather just have one solid trailer and a release window.
Cared enough to respond. 🤷♂️
Online passes too…those were an annoying few years trying to stop the second hand market.
@King
I wouldn’t bother, he’ll never be satisfied. Redfall and MS live rent free in his head.
Two things stick out for me:
-“…and deeply regret that the game did not meet the expectations that we set for ourselves…”
-“providing you with patches that will allow you to enjoy the game to its fullest potential.”
To me, the first part just reads as if they knew that the game wasn’t any good and went ahead with releasing it anyway. I wonder how much of the decision was the dev team or if there was any pressure from the co-publisher Na...
“Because NaughtyDog have earned that "Godhood" status which means any criticism is off limits to them sadly. “
Too true, glad other people are aware of it and it’s not just me. Some fans really would do anything to excuse otherwise condemnable behaviour.
“It's in a different city(San Francisco) with a new cast of characters. So everything will be new. Is everyone uninformed or just lying?”
So because a MODE is set in a different city, it means it’s not a mode? Nice spin but not quite true, is it?
Edit: after a quick google search, I found countless evidence that this was indeed a mode left out from TLoU Part 2 launch including the developers themselves announcing a delay to the “MODE” so…I ask, who’s...
Don’t know why you’re getting downvotes for speaking the truth.
They’re clearly having some issues when a SINGLE MODE that was due to release as part of a game *checks notes* three years ago, still isn’t ready.
I wish them the best but they’re clearly having some trouble and hopefully they get stuff moving sooner rather than later.
Yeah I thought it would be, if those people kept trying to block these articles, it’s a bit of a double standard given that N4G was flooded with Redfall articles for a couple of weeks.
Didn’t notice that, what’s the reasons they’re giving? Duplicate story?
Listen man, whilst the showcase was underwhelming, that’s some next level reaching to claim “development hell” for Sony first party studios, come on, this has to be a troll?
@Lions
I explained the reason that I’d make use of this peripheral. I still buy most of my games physically and this peripheral absolutely will not be the reason for a further digital only future. It’s a “nice to have” and handy for people like myself.
I’ve tried remote play and it was alright but I want to be able to use my phone as…a phone and not have to muck around anytime I get a text to reply to or god forbid I want to look up a guide for something,...
Complaining about an article whilst not actually reading the article?
Makes sense.
*Ride to Hell: Retribution enters the chat* 😂
That game was DESTROYED.
With Evolution studios long since gone, I doubt we’d ever see another Motorstorm.
Guerilla have been shifted to ride the Horizon hype train with multiple projects in the works though I’m sure I read that have another project not related to Horizon, but I doubt it would be Killzone.
Same with Resistance, Insomniac have been moved to the money maker that is Spider-Man & the family friendly Ratchet & Clank. They tend to be far more profitable so agai...
Agreed.
The people who seem to take issue with this peripheral must have no kids and game on their mobile often.
I hate using my mobile for anything other than browsing online or communication. Remote play on the mobile app is a mess and I’d rather have a dedicated device.
It’s a good idea for a small crowd imo.
It would solve the problem with the TV whilst still being able to spend time in the company of others too.
