Reading the comments it seems like too many commenters are luddites.
What Kojima said is actually pretty genius and may explain why the MGS series is the only series that actually elicited strongs emotions instead of just the occasional adrenaline burst.
MS should just release a cheap microphone for 30 bucks, it would be just as useful as Kinect for most games.
People keep saying that PC is next gen but that's not true, most PC games don't use PC power at all, they're just sharper, smoother, console games - something akin to PS2 HD versions or 360 at 1080p and 60FPS.
Aside from MMOs, strategy games and the odd RPG, devs aren't leading on PC or making AAA games for it, it's all just console ports.
That being said, I'd prefer the smoother, sharper version any day.
When you make changes according to "fans" complaining on forums you're going to run into trouble because they're often the minority opinion. The rest of the fanbase is probably playing and enjoying the game.
How did the rant get approved.
People on the internet have no manners and don't know how to communicate with people using even the smallest amount of human decency.
If people treated others like how they would in real life, face to face - then online communication wouldn't be such a vile wasteland of racism, intolerance, belligerence and vituperation.
I always thought he looked more like a complete asshole.
So Patcher was right after all.
My brother found his wife in WoW.
Aiming was my only real complaint but I had the PS3 version.
The gunplay in KZ3 is completely different than COD gunplay, Killzone 3 doesn't resemble COD much at all.
Killzone 3 has some of the most satisfying shooting mechanics I've experienced imo.
Nintendo bet it all on the fickle tastes of casual gamers which paid off but the Wii HD should have launched years ago as now the casuals are playing iOS games.
Modern Warfare 2.
Technically, a Japanese game (Mario Kart Wii), is the highest selling game of the generation. If you count Nintendo, Japanese games would be the most successful.
Molyneux may have been hopelessly delusional but this Gary Carr guy is a complete moron.
Did he really think anyone would agree with what may be the worst argument ever made in gaming.
I would have paid for a trophy patch a couple of years ago.
Also, casual gamers love a something one day then ignore it the next.
Nintendo but they're in a bad position now, they sacrificed long term core gamers for short term casual gains. Those casuals are probably playing Android and iOS games now while the core just don't care that much about Nintendo.
Probably because like most of pre-launch Kinect games it was all malarky.
"Scan in your skateboard and start peddling", yeah right. Kinect was the biggest BS marketing trick this gen.
