The first reviews are almost always among the highest review....hmmmmmm
This is actually the least excited I've been for a new console in recent memory, I was more excited about 3DO if that's any indication.
Also, the trickle of next-gen looking graphics is making Wii U look decidedly last-gen already but at $250.00 it could warrant an impulse purchase for me just to play Metroid and Zelda....maybe.
Not sure how excited I am for another FF but it's clear that the Japanese gaming industry is making some very nice graphics engines these days - both Luminous and Fox look better than Unreal.
Also forgot, poverty, food/water shortages, global warming, inequality, over population and probably more that I just can't remember.
Impossible, he would be too old.
On an unrelated note, the more next-gen games I see the less impressive the next-gen Unreal engine looks to me. So many games are destroying that lava knight demo.
Totally disagree with that statement.
This is such a hilarious fail, the article has been updated, the game will be 720p.
I got mine a few months after launch so I was stuck in a horrible cycle of getting refurbished consoles that only lasted a few months.
I broke my couch armrest from hitting it so much. Now every time I think of Bioware I feel angry and disappointed so I'm definitely not supporting them again.
I'm not the only one that this happened to apparently, I'm sure they've lost a few fans from a simple achievement glitch. Pays to properly program some things.
I used to be the biggest Bioware supporter too, I had KOTOR, Jade Empire, DA, ME1-3. Now they can go F themselves until the ...
I'm not making the mistake of buying first year MS console again (5 360s). I'm waiting two years for them to iron out hardware issues and/or price drops. I'll just build my PC gaming rig in the meantime or just get a PS4.
Totally agree, I just passed Mass Effect 2 on insanity without ever changing the difficulty and the achievement didn't unlock. I'm never buying a Bioware game again or giving them any money.
It also depends on what console you play them on.
On 360 in order to get that "completed game" stat you have to buy all the DLC also, whereas on PS3 you can get the platinum from the original game itself.
I was pissed when I got 1000 GS in Mass Effect 2 only to have it not count as full completion because I didn't buy and complete the DLC, insanity was pretty insane at times...it's actually why I like trophies more than meaningless fing MS ...
This gen is so old that most games aren't selling that well. Only the established franchises sequels are selling well.
I can't remember who said it but he was right, gamers complain about lack of new IPs but constantly ignore them for sequels.
I started gaming on Nintendo too but I have as much loyalty towards corporations as they do to me - so long as they supply products I want, I will give them money for it, that's it.
I owe corps nothing and have no love for any of them just as they have no love for me and only want profit. I never understand fanboys that love a company, products sure but the actually company boggles my mind.
I hope so, I'd love Nintendo games on non-nintendo systems.
So the game will be 19.99 on release day then?
I disagree, I think the youths are buying less games and playing a few all year round until the next iteration comes out.
From my experience, people are buying their favourite shooter (COD, BF3) and sports game and playing online all year until the next version comes out.
They ignore so many other great games because they just logs hundreds of hours into the same 2-3 games every year.
I am so excited for this game, PC or PS4/NeXbox, this game is mine....so long as it's good.
The more functionality added to my consoles the better imo.
OR sounds awesome, gaming for me is largely about immersion, the more immersed I can get into a game world the better.
