I prefer my 360 controller to my PS3 controller, except for that d-pad on 360s which is absolute rubbish.
The PS3 triggers are lacking because the convex analogs allow fingers to slide off when playing analog intensive games like NHL. Analog placement are about equal imo.
The only thing that would make the 360s better is having PS3s d-pad and if they got rid of the battery pack.
I think the question is whether Wii U will be more like Wii in terms of sales or Gamecube.
It's going to be funny when smartphone graphics are on par with Wii U's in a few years....still they won't have Metroid or buttons so who cares.
Looks too realistic, a Pixar look would be preferable.
Basically I see it this way, when PS4 and NeXbox arrive 3rd parties won't make multiplats on Wii U but the Nintendo made games will probably look marginally better what we have now.
DF - it's either 360 wins or PS3 and 360 tie 99% of the time.
The only real next-gen engine I've seen interms of revolutionary graphical leaps is the Luminous engine imo.
The rest of the stuff look too much like current gen, only smoother, sharper and with better effects....although that frog is beautiful.
So what BF3 achievements do you have on Steam...
Again, a unified, ubiquitous achievement system on PC would be great.
Not when you see the aggregate number, it's just an empty number whereas platinums, golds, silvers and bronzes distinguish difficulty and number of completed games.
At least on PS3 if I get a platinum I know I got every trophy in the original game, on 360 I can get 1000 points but all the additional DLC achievement points don't allow me to reflect that I've "completed" the everything in the original (DLC free) game.

I wish there was a unified achievement system for all PC games. Well, I'd actually prefer something more like trophies which distinguish between difficulty of the achievement and is not just an empty number.
PS3 is past primetime like all the consoles, it's more like 11:00 one last watchable latenight show for half an hour then nothing's on.
Strangely the game with the most mature themes is probably the Metal Gear Solid series imo. It at least attempts to deal with politics in that it argues that we're all under a plutocracy, nature vs nurture, loss, sacrifice, etc.
It definitely predicted growing drone usage and commercial military organizations well before it became common place.
I hope they make the jumping travel further too. It was frustrating that this super suit guy could jump super high but not forward enough to make it over a street.
Can't wait for NHL! Not sure why MP of the year awards always go to shooters when sports games do it so much better - they actually have real team play, not just a bunch of guys focused on their k/d who happen to be on the same team.
5 vs 5 sport MP people are actually trying to win the match, there's no camping, people care about the objective (winning) and generally actually work as a team.
