This is the most random thing ever. It's nice that Blakes 7 is getting some love.. But Microsoft? Could microsoft's actions over the last 2 months have seen any more random?

The halo tablet game is a "real game", and respectable for what it is. Its also for comparatively obscure windows tablets that very few people have, hence less reviews!

Objectively most of those games are terrible. Just because you have an attachment and they're highly re playable *to you* doesn't actually make them good games by modern standards.
The fact that they tried new things is important - they're historically relevant, but thats all.

Everything I've read from people who played Ryse said it's just QTEs and mash to win.. I've not seen anything positive written about it save for its graphics.
Dead Rising 3 is much more impressive, technically.
Generally though who cares about launch titles? They're a drop in the bucket compared to what comes later.. And that's why my primary console will always be the one with my favourite 1st party studios. (Ps4)

"Unlimited sized hard-drive" is just as BS as "unlimited power of the cloud" - anyone with proper internet access could claim it's like they have unlimited HDD space - but they'd be an absolute moron for doing so.
This is exactly what Apple are offering in IOS with gamecenter licenses and cloud saves and nobody would be stupid enough to refer to it in that way.

Itd be funny if the ai and other shortfalls were resolved this late.. So stupid.. Whos going to appreciate it? the reviews are done, the sales are done. All it can mean is when people pick it up for next to nothing in a few years theyll wonder why the reviews were so harsh. XD

Not really.. I do wish that people learnt more gaming history before writing about it, or at least made the tiniest effort to research before discounting things. Flashback was a big deal in its day, so if the remake lives up to that reputation its not too different to the duck-tales remake in terms of merit.
Some of the better LPers have it down to some sort of performance art.. Its not totally uncreative - some people put a lot of effort in with art, image etc.
Considering the places art can go and still be considered art, LP is pretty good in comparison! :D
It's awful isn't it? Months to release, not a single game reviewed and people are pitching battles between imaginary houses of cards.. Wait and see! I'm of the opinion the ps4 has more to offer me personally - because of the indie thing and Naughty Dog etc, but seriously. They will both have their selling points at the end of the day.

Has there ever been a mainstream console that hasnt had at least a few great exclusives? Even the Atari Jaguar had its AVP (which was awesome at the time..)
Im in day 1 with the PS4 but im not going to pretend nothing interesting is happening on the other side.. Im just going to hedge my bets and see how many titles overspill onto windows before considering the xb1. (Also, ms need to stop treating everyone like idiots before i'd feel ok supporting the platform)
