Hahahah wow, I was going to say this was a terrible attempt at trolling but a crapload of people fell for it, sooo..
Good trolling?
"there is not a person here who truly hand on heart wouldn't prefer this game if it looked more 'real' - art direction be damned. "
What a load of crap. I LOVE the art style. The more real they make it the more generic it would look and the worse it would age.
I'm seriously glad you had no part in developing this, and other games. As are a lot of other people based on the amount of disagrees you're getting. Oh.. And the critical...
The vast majority of my steam library comes from sales, and I don't have time to play through them all. Hopefully one day I will, but it'll be a hell of a backlog. Maybe when I retire in a few decades.. (It's like a gaming pension scheme!) I don't see the problem with this. On most systems I consider myself a collector as much as a player.
Who really brags about their library though? Why would anyone care?
Aliens vs Predator most certainly wasn't a great movie!
Agreed about ACM though, it's baaaaaaad.
Well.. Sony already said remote play will work on everything, so you'll be able to stream it to your Vita at least.. Which sounds fun TBH. I hope when it downsizes the picture it adds a load of AA.
Adding new frames is exactly what it's doing, sometimes to horrible effect. They arent necessarily good frames, but they are there. i know the PS3 isnt sending the information and theyre "fake" frames.. It tends to result in a weird effect that can take some getting used to, but sometimes it's great!
Just reading up on motionflow on Sonys sites is enough to show how it works.
It's really easy to test/prove too. Make. 30fps animation and ...
Hahah crazy assumptions in this article. As much as I love the idea of the Rift it's still unproven at this point with no way to predict how the market will respond. It's also not practical for a lot of gamers.
There's nothing stopping Sony from introducing VR mid cycle like they did with the Move too.
At least for years, and probably forever - only a tiny percentage of pc gamers will get VR, like only a tiny percent invested in 3D. Expecting So...
If your tv has good (non juddery or laggy) motion interpolation 30fps converts really well into higher FPS. Killzone in particular looks more cinematic at the lower FPS for some reason though.
(Motion interpolation tweens all the missing frames and makes tens of transitional frames every second, sometimes it's implemented badly but generally in modern Sony TVs it's nice.. )
I'd rather have a smooth locked 30 than an erratic jumpy 60 anyway.
i think they'd have probably played better in fake footage. he was pretty awful at hitting targets!
I'd happily see more zombie games.
A couple of sites (mine included) have good counter-points to the anti-zombie perspective. I can't think of a game where the zombies were detrimental to the game itself.
The PS4 isn't going to come as a surprise to ND and I'd be perplexes if they don't release it for the PS4 too eventually, as that's where they'll likely want to put any sequels.
Where are people getting "PS3 exclusive" from? It's not like they could have said "coming to PS3 and the unannounced PS4 we're NDAd never to mention!"
There's still ps3 support, and I see no reason to think it won't last 10 years.
They never said it would be the best and only Sony console for 10 years.
But you're probably just trolling anyway..
Smh back at you? Agreed, it's likely not the final design, and for the record I like the look of the weird prototype anyway. :) It definitely has a few visible improvements already in this form.
In some alternate timeline.. Cliffy B and Jade Raymond would have really irritating children.
"I don't want to be chainsawing a demonic unicorn in Far Cry 4." - lol wow.. I do!
Most video sites support html5 options to be compatible with iOS and Android... YouTube, Vimeo etc all work fine with no flash, so really if 360 IE isn't playing videos on the major sites that's nothing to do with the lack of flash support, and more to do with MS ballsing it up.
Homecoming wasn't really all that good. Mechanically it was pretty awful. The boss battles were stupid. Nothing was particularly well executed. It was all competent but stilted.
The writing was pretty lame too comparatively.
"However, as time progresses, the game got boring and I went back to playing Modern Warfare 3 like every other true gamer." Douche or troll?
I know a lot of "true gamers" that play neither.
Why do the boobs inflate when they breath?! What's is going on? Do they have extra boob-lungs? Argh!
This could, if supported well and implemented properly give some players (if they invested enough time learning it) a competitive advantage.
I wish there were more weird controller designs like this.
