A game without much gameplay is still a game. Its like the point and click adventure games that were massive in the 90s. Most of them had no lose state, they were all just moving around and using X object on Y object to cause Z scripted outcome.

.. I'm largely with you but it is open world and it probably will be fun.. So resolution etc aside i can see people enjoying it for what it is.
I was pretty jealous of DR1 for the 360 until i got a 360 a few years later. DR1 is still a great game - and one of the few i cared about which didn't get a superior PC port later on. If DR3 doesn't get ported to anything else either then that'll be a shame... Again.
Hmm.. Is DR 3 a completely new engine? It doesn't take a very powerful PC to run DR2 at >60fps.
Saying that, all the hate for 30fps is pretty funny considering most peoples favourite games this gen have likely been 30fps. You can have a pretty 30fps game. Im expecting a lot of the graphical showcase games to ultimately end up 30fps too so they can pile on effects.

I expect it's less about greed and more about the spiralling costs of changing MGS into an open world game. I'm sure it'll work out in the end.
Makes sense.. Ground Zeroes is kind of like the MGS equivalent of GT:Prologue and Dead Rising 2: Case West ... It's not a full blown title so it doesn't need a disk version.
Like a lot of people point out it'll likely come with MGS5 in some "complete edition" or other.
Of course graphical upgrades are important. The fact is though nobody is going to be upgrading to a WORSE system than they had. Even staying MS exclusive xbox "faithful" will get a much improved experience over what they have now.
Personally - TO ME - I think it's preposterous how crappy the X1 specs are. MY opinions are irrelevant to the marketplace, and the industry as a whole. I suspect Sessler's got a similar mindset.

And get this. I'm "on your side" - I have the PS4, camera, second DS4 all pre-ordered, and wouldn't touch an X1 with a bargepole until it's proven itself in the marketplace and has a load of stuff I need.. Which might well never happen.

The world is not black and white. The fanboy inability to see the various shades of grey just makes a massive echo chamber of idiocy.
Also it's entirely impossible for someone to change their mind, so even if Sessler doesn't see things both ways, it's not as big a deal as people are making out.
