To be honest, it's more worth it to hack the other two consoles. 360 core for $279 or Wii.

Sometimes I ponder, do some of these developers live under a rock? Have they not ever in they're life heard of Halo or Call of Duty? And what I don't get is why do the publishers approve of such crappy games like this. Do they really think "Yes this is the next big thing next to Call of Duty. Approved!"

While I agree to a certain level, Super Mario Galaxy didn't come in the first year. And secondly, most of the games were ports from the game cube, but instead of using a controller you use the Wii Motes.

Mesh1, Gears of War is NOT a 1st generation 360 title. It's a 2nd. The 360 came out in 2005, while Gears of War came out in 2006. Get your facts straight.
Secondly, you contradict yourself. Sure Gears of War has excellent graphics, but name a 360 game today that even remotely looks as good as gears of war. Halo 3? Looks like crap. Bioshock? Same engine.
The point is, developers are making 360 games that's only the same level as gears of war, not leaps and bounds...
Ahh yes good ol' counterstrike. Massively addictive online play. More so than COD4.

All you did was list a bunch of multiplatform titles, and 360 exclusives that also happens to be released on PC as well.
That's what I like about most of Sonys exclusives. Because they are really EXCLUSIVE. Like Final Fantasy, God of War, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, etc. etc. that aren't gimped into a multiplatform developement. How does it benefit us? We get better quality games.

Lair wasn't that bad, it's just one of those things that fail because of hype, and the negative hype train afterwards. Just really blown out of proportions.

It's okay, Sony PS3 fans have much better RPG's to look foward to. White Knight Story Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy versus XIII. And eventually a Final Fantasy VII remake.
As for Lost Odyssey, it looks like a game that sufferes from needing more developement time. If they had more time to develope and polish out the kinks and frame rates, it would have been a better game on a technical level.

Actually no, even if a game got an A-, it is generally perceived especially if you ever went to an american high school, as having a good grade. It's only the small minority of "goodie two shoes" that cant have nothing but an A+.
But I think we'll find that this new grading system is a lot better than numerical. For example a game like Halo 3, only deserves a C+ at best, not a B, and definitely not an A.

I have a Wii, 360, and PS3. But for some reason, I look at the Wii like it's just a toy. Heck, I don't even use it. I let my nephew and niece play with it.
However I do know why people want it,
1. For they're kids or
2. See what's the hype all about.
Those two reasons alone is what's making the Wii sell buttloads. It's not the software, it's not the hardware, and obviously it's not the graphics. It's the market that's eating them up. Kids want it...
