I actually hope the 360 will come out with crazy exclusive games. The Wii can die.
Uh well I actually enjoy my PS3 more than my 360. But the 360 is not a bad system, just with horrible mistakes. Like no built-in HDD, wi-fi, HDMI reliability, etc. etc.
Lawman. Final Fantasy XIII. Metal Gear Solid 4. Gran Turismo 5. Resistance 2. Killzone 2.
That's all sony needs to catch up to the 360 in the U.S. Believe it.
Ask yourself, how many people bought a PS2 for a DVD Player?
This game is looking pretty sick. Hopefully it comes with a good multiplayer.
There will always be a place for Hardcore gamers just as long as we keep buying they're games. And as long as companies like Epic Games, Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Criterion, Square Enix, heck, even Bungie exists, there will always be hardcore games.

If we are talking multiplatform, then you can say 3rd party developers achieved the same graphical prowess on the PS3 in just one year, while the 360 has already been out for over 2 years. Burnout Paradise, COD4, UT3, Devil May Cry 4 are all equal or better quality to the 360 counterparts.

How do you explain games like Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank? How do you explain great 3rd party titles like Devil May Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, COD4, UT3 all running properly on the PS3 if it was such a weak piece of machinery? Regardless of N4G's new "Gamerzone" your obviously not just a gamer. Let go of the bias, and realize that the PS3 is here to stay and it's not going the way of the dreamcast. what they fail to realize is that the concept for music, doesn't apply to movies. Figure this, a single MP3 is only 5MB. That's why people can download them by the boat loads. But you figure a 1080p movie with bonus features could be upwards of 10-25gb's. People aren't going to be downloading those by the boat loads unless we start having 1gb/sec connections. Which is a long long long ways away.
I have a R4DS for my gf. But 90% is over exaggerated. I know 10 different 21 year old chicks who has no idea what a R4DS is.
I think microsoft need to abandon the core package. Make the 360 premium $299 as entry-level with the 20gb HDD. And make the elite the "premium" package at $399.

Yeah keep comparing the old games. Everybody already knew about that. Killzone 1 didn't live up to the hype.
But guess what, Halo 3, the biggest hype in videogame history, doesn't live up to the hype. The only great thing about it, is that microsoft actually fooled people into believing Halo 3 will change the way they look at gaming.
But guess what, it's nothing more than Halo 2.5. It didn't bring anything new to the table. Just same old gameplay. Same old Enviro...

no they are not the same thing.
Overrated is "Halo." Something that's been touted so great and mind-blowing, is actually just a mediocre experience.
Popular can be something that's actually good with a lot of people buying into it.
Thin lines, but there is a difference.
If you want to play the guitar, then play the guitar. But there's no sense in calling people zombies for having fun playing a VIDEO GAME.
That's what the whole purpose of games are. Is to have fun, with friends, or even by yourself. If you want to do anything in real life, then go out and do it in real life.
So if you think you need to insult a person for playing a video game, then you need your brain checked.
You can enjoy great movies from New Line Cinema in the future in HD goodness. Like Halo, Gears of War, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

It's just like video games, the system/console with studio/3rdparty support is the one that will be successful in the future. In which HD-DVD only has Paramount/Universal.
Take Bioshock for example. It has no multiplayer, yet it was praised for "not needing one." But when it came down to Drake's Fortune or Ratchet & Clank TOD, they deduct points for no online mode.

Also keep this in mind, the game was developed on the PS3 as the lead platform. Perhaps since they knew every PS3 had a built-in HDD, they created the engine to rely on a HDD for caching data especially online. Then once they implemented it to the 360 version, they probably couldn't find a way to cut the corner to make the 360 run as well as the PS3 version without the HDD.
Who knows.
All I know is that poor core 360 owner who just spent $65 on paradise won't get...
Demo was meh. Hopefully the actual game turns out decent.
