why do people approve this? Gamestop don't know release dates. It's only when the company releases a valid release date.
Any chance you can get that list? I'd be interested to see what kind of games I could potentially buy for the 360. Only ones worth mentioning to me is Ninja Gaiden II and GoW2. Oh and possibly Alan Wake.
On the AVS FORUM, i could recall that people said component actually looked better than HDMI for the 360. Doesn't make much sense to me. But if the 360 is already that "sharp" looking through component, then hooked up via HDMI will make it look even more "sharper" making it even more "over sharpened"

It's not the PS3's fault for delay, it's they're decision to make the game multiplatform. If they would have just took the time to develope soley on the PS3 as an exclusive, they would have much better results. Look at games that were developed on PS3 only or PS3 first with excellent results. Like Burnout Paradise, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Devil May Cry 4, Gran Turismo 5, Killzone 2, MGS4, etc.

Nobody is an idiot for getting one version or the other. The "exclusive" downloadable content you would have to pay extra anyway, considering if you'd even want to pay for something that should have came with the game for 60 big ones.
I have a 360 and PS3, yet I'm getting the PS3 version. This game deserves to be played with the Playstation controller, just as well as Devil May Cry 4.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't dare play Halo 3 on a PS controller either, that thing belongs on a xbox controller.
MGS4 delayed into the holiday season? Earth to whoever wrote this. it doesn't take 9 months to test out for "Bugs" especially from a big developer like Konami. MGS4 is already in bug-testing phase. We'll see the game in April.
Secondly, FFXIII was always thought to come out in 2009 anyway. And GTAIV the biggest most anticipated game in 2008 wont be delayed again. They just released a batch of new information and it's probably almost complete. If anything, we'll see it...
that plus an introduction of a new color, might actually get some people who's been on the fence about the PS3 to finally get one.
but oh yeah this is about the 360. I personally think Microsoft doesn't need a price drop, it's already $279 for a core for crying out loud. If they drop it to $249, it's the same price as a Wii.
Then again, a $299 premium 360 would sell pretty well.

Thank you UBI! We all know how multiplat titles end up. One system gets the shaft, and it probably would have been a port on the PS3 not developed simultaneously.
I will definitely give this game a rent for my 360. But MGS4 will definitely take the cake for my PS3 espionage needs.

I humbly agree. I'm going to play every tiny ounce MGS4 has to offer. Find every secret, gain every weapon, see every pixel. Drain the crap out of Snake's final mission. Which will take me quite a long time. And then GTA IV, that's going to take even longer to find everything.
We have plenty of big titles to play in 2008. They have to leave something for us in 2009 in the form of FFXIII, FFvsXIII and of course GOW3.
The Wii is just like Halo 3. Mass marketing, mass Hype, crazy sales numbers. But with mediocre results with the actual product.
actually the general consensus from the "droids" from my observation, is that they really don't care if this game came to PS3 or not. PS3 owners in general just want MGS4, the actual game. Not stupid fanboy debate. They want MGS4 to play MGS4.

wow... those physics looks like crap to be honest. at least compared to other games of this generation. and i hate to say it, but from the last GTAIV trailer, the character animations look like crap too.
hopefully this wont be the case with the complete version. oh well, I'm still buying it lol
