Yes, and let's completely completely ignore the PS3 numbers. *rolls eyes*
is this really all that surprising?
wouldn't be surprised to see a LEGO: Mass Effect
Complete with alien sex scenes.
Eretik, you by far have the weakest arguement. Wasn't in fact Halo 3 was supposed to "revolutionize" the way we play games? But it turned out to be nothing more than just Halo 2.5.
MGS4 is beyond that, it's an actual sequel with an actual ending. Konami, Kojima, Payton said themself this is the final game in the MGS series as far as Solid Snake is concerned. It doesn't garner worldwide praise for nothing.
Stan Lee at the 20th annivesary event even gave ...
The PS3 has "Theatre type Hardware, while the 360 is more like a DVD."
So that must make the Wii a harmonica.
I think Infamous
Actually it got boring when the bad guys always said "I'm only using 10% of my power." over and over again. And then the next bad guy "I have a power level of over one million." "ONE MILLION!?!?!" "Yes one million" and yet still gets his ass kicked with a spirit bomb.
I personally think that it's not just a problem of the 3rd party developers, but the Wii concept to begin with. I mean how much more original can you get when you make a Wii game. Replace right analog stick with right Wii Mote, and replace the action buttons with waving the remote around. The Wii to me is just an overrated piece of doo doo. I'd rather have a 360 or PS3 anyday
Goes to show that developers really need to take Demo's more seriously. They need to make it as perfect as possible. They need to realize that demo's can make or break they're game.
That is just wishful thinking at it's best. DD is a lonnnnggg way to go. Sure, download 50 movies into a hard drive at 15-30gb each, plus extras, and take how long before optical gets into the general consumers?
And then let's say DD is here, one quick power surge to your HDD and goodbye movies, you have to re-download them again.
I'm really surprised the PS3 is actually outselling the 360 with software sales. It seems around the world everybody is settling with the Playstation brand, except the U.S.
Because you can be as tactical as you want in tactical mode, or go all out in free-for-all. it's the multiplayer. and what do you mean "average" gameplay? compared to what?
the explosions, the sounds, the weapons, everything is exciting. the graphics are top-tier (despoite being 600p resolution.) it's also equally impressive on the 360 or PS3, and even more so on PC.
Lost Odyssey definitely has great potential. However I think the game could have used a little more developement time to polish out the kinks. And it's strange how the japanese characters look... japanese haha. I think it will still be a good RPG anyway though.
This is only one review and one opinion and shouldn't scare RPG fans away from a 360 RPG that might actually be good. (Poor blue dragon)
If this is true, and GS/EB actually does stop selling the 360. It doesn't bold well for the 360 for the AU market. However, keep in mind, it probably won't effect anywhere else, like the NA or European markets.
i wouldn't be too surprised if we saw it in 09 though. but personally they can take as much time as they think they need.
and besides, this is SE. they probably know the PS3 more than the whole industry at this point. more so than insomniac.
one day surfer girl will be found dead after being murdered by companies execs tired of her rumors.
"fantastic choice of movies"
From Universal, Paramount... and... umm... and... and... and... Universal... and Paramount...
No. It's more like a Ferrari F50 at the nurburgring. Sure a rookie driver can hit let's say 8 min's flat (new developer). While a seasoned veteran can tear it up into pieces and hit 7'30 seconds (PS3 experienced developer).
strangely enough I played at least 90% of all the games that were in there across all systems. Yes, 2007 had too many damn games and I couldn't finish them all. Great year. Let's all hope 2008 serves us even better.
Why? It's Microsoft. That's why.
