For those who's thinking it's going to be in San Andreas must realize it's not going to be the whole San Andreas. It will most likely be San Fierro. If you got far enough in GTA IV you'll see why.
The problem with MS trying to release this kind of motion control for they're system, is because it was never part of the core experience from the 360 to begin with. When people hear "Video game system with motion controls" they are going to automatically think Wii.
Now I'm not saying that this will be or not be a success on MS's end, but they sure don't have an identity of what they're console is doing for the consumers anymore. The 360 was known as the hardcore gamer'...
There's more reasons to buy a PS3 for any gamer. It's just the hardcore 360 folks that absolutely will never ever believe the PS3 is for them.
And it's the other way around too, there's plenty of reasons to get a 360 as well.
If a PS4 comes out, then we'd all be stuck with crappy old XBOX 3 ports anyway. I'm pretty sure a new xbox will come first before a PS4.
I expect a new XBOX in 2010, but not a new playstation until at least 2012.
sadly, some poor suckers are going to buy this crap because they figure "ooh cool, vampires"
They still got 9 months to go. And most developers don't really start polishing graphics until the last 2-3 months of development.
Gamespot would probably give it a 7/10 for the graphics having too much detail to look at.
One thing I agree that he's right on, is that Sony promised all these great titles, big heavy action, mind blowing, in your face games that aren't coming out until later on.
So then tell me why does the PS3 without those big titles still manage to only be 5 mil behind? Looks like the PS3 is selling perfectly fine for a system with "No Games"
Food for thought.
It's because no matter how awesome the graphics look, no matter how different the gameplay looks, no matter if the story is going to have substance, no matter what. People are going to keep comparing it to Killzone 1 on PS2.
Let's pretend Killzone 2 came out, and it receives a 9.5/10. People are still going to say "well killzone 1 sucked, why did this get a 9.5?"
or some BS that has nothing to do with the actual game like "Gears 2 is better!"
You obviously don't understand anything about coding or clock speeds for that matter. 6ghz isn't going to automatically give you blistering crazy 5000p gaming or nothing. Look at Crisis, a 3.2ghz computer will be able to run that game just as long as it has a VIDEO CARD to back it up.
You see, they work together. It's not just processing power that's missing, it's just the actual knowledge of coding the two to work together. That's the struggle developers are having with the PS3....
The Ironic thing is that I didn't have any lock out issues. I only had the multiplayer issues not connecting. But oh yeah, the Ironic thing is that my PS3 froze DOWNLOADING the damn patch.
I hate how fanboys keep taking things people say out of context. Moore didn't even really say anything negative, except the fact that it seems like he wants to use it already.
I would say if anybody gets this license, I hope it's Codemasters. If it goes to EA, then expect a crappy PS3 port. If it goes to Ubisoft, expect a delay.
The PS3 F1 CE was great, except that it was just too technical for anybody to get in to.
Read the article carefully. It has nothing to do with production costs. It's about the licensing price that the F1 chief is asking for. The previous license that was from 2003-2007 cost $200 million. The new license price they are asking for more.
No I enjoyed it too. People have some kind of double standards now adays where they will never enjoy an FPS game after COD4.
People stop worrying about resolutions already. It's confirmed the demo (and probably the full game) will run 576p. But WHO CARES. Halo 3 ran at 640p and sold millions and people love it. GTA IV PS3 runs 640p sold millions and people love it. COD4 on both systems runs 600p and sold millions and people love it. Not saying that people will love Haze, just saying resolutions don't matter all that much opposed to gameplay.
Haze is still 576p. Quaz was joking

I hate it when companies act all big and mighty over these kind of things. Why not just keep your mouths shut and deliver us the games and content that consumers deserve for plunking down hundreds on the console. And I'm not just talking about Sony, I'm talking about all of them.
They surpassed the E3 2005 trailer. Seriously, developers have zero excuse with the PS3 graphics if GG is creating stuff like this.
