Because there's absolutely no real gameplay footage released yet. So how can you compare Gears 2 video to no resistance 2 videos?
What bothers me about they're "excuse" is that they said it a mistake, and that the tapes were "mislabeled."
So why in the world does a person in chrage of doing "comparisons" who's supposed to find the itty bitty differences between both games not notice it's running both the PS3 versions?
Just curious, what's the hype with this game anyway? Honest question, I've never played any banjo game before.
Bladestar, it's not like you're going to get to play MGS4 anyway. Or any PS3 exclusives for that matter.

Yes, considering there are no 80gb's available which is the PS3 that people want. A lot are holding out for the 80gb MGS4 bundle. The sad part is that I think we're going to have a "SHORTAGE" lol. People are going to gobble up the MGS4 80gb bundles up like hot cakes.

Except dont forget Microsoft has Gears of War 2. It's my top anticipated 360 game. Actually, probably my only anticipated 360 game right now lol. Ninja Gaiden II is alright, I didn't like Sigma all that much anyway. Alan Wake? Not enough information. Fable 2? Rent.
No matter how 360 fans are going to spin this, but so far the 360 exclusives THIS YEAR just aren't as enticing as Sony's line up.
*Sigh* Only 4.5 weeks til MGS4.
All I can say for the states is "Metal Gear Solid 4" and guess what, "Metal Gear Solid 4 80gb bundle."

Yeah the whole "PS3 is just a blu-ray" player is old. It's both a Blu-Ray player and Games machine. GTA IV and MGS4 proves that.
I personally love the color and art direction. I wish Halo 3 could have been less colorful to add the more gritty hardcore look.
And I don't see anybody complaining about Gears of War 2, it looks more gray and washed out than the first. Not that it's a bad thing, it adds to the grim and dark reality in the game. Which is what makes it a Mature hardcore gamer's game. This aint super mario galaxy folks.
I still cant fathom that they have 9 more months of developement. A lot of things can be done in 9 months extra time.

Notice that the PS3 has more games in x1080 resolutions than the 360
MGS4 nothing special except the screenshots of CGI? MGS4 doesn't use any CGI, it's all real-time rendering. It also has been in all MGS games.
Secondly, if you cannot see why Killzone 2 is the new benchmark for graphics then you need to get your eyes checked.

I don't know, but even watching the HD Version on gametrailers, it's much clearer than those screenshots. How do we know the person who did this article isn't the one that applied the Gaussian blur to the photos?
Either way, no smear can hide the awesome gameplay in the video. Despite me also being disappointed with the graphical "update", the gameplay is what's going to matter more than that.
I actually agree, a PS3 for $299.99 will be the super sweet spot. Infact, they need to do it before holiday season rolls up

It's funny how people say Killzone's 2 gameplay won't be as good. But keep this in mind, Destructible Environments + Rocket Launcher + Gobs of Blood + Hit detection system for each enemy = Awesome
All they need to nail down is the A.I. The gameplay is already good looking IMO
