Yeah but I honestly believe sales around the world are stopped for a reason for Sony and the PS3. People in the U.S. want a 80gb PS3. But there arent any left, so many are waiting for the MGS4 80gb PS3. Same goes for Japan, they are waiting for the MGS4 bundles. Look at how fast the special edition Gun Metal Gray bundle sold out.

Only 360 title I'm insanely excited for is Gears of War 2. And maybe fable 2, heard the original one was pretty good. But come June 12th, the PS3 is going to be working overtime.
I'm sorry, but this would have been a great Nintendo title. I understand the hype for Gears of War 2, but this doesn't look all that great. I'm definitely going to at least rent this though to see what's it all about.

To answer your Rant, Fan-boys are generated because they could only afford one system. So to make themselves feel better, they will try to downplay the other console.
However there are other circumstances. For example me, I have a 360, PS3, and Wii. I hardly play the Wii, well because it's mostly for my girlfriend and people who come over. I play the 360 for specific games like Gears of War, Dead Rising, etc. Then I use the PS3 for all my media needs like MP3s, pictures, movies, ...
The reason he said that was because when you look at Gears 1. Awesome graphics, awesome details, etc. And for two years straight, every X360 game that has come out still have not topped Gears of War 1 on graphics.

Well, this comes in the arguement about quality over quantity. I'd rather have 6-7 good solid hours, than 10-12 filler hours. Gears 1 definitely was good all the way through. Even if Gears 2 is only 6-7 hours, it's still going to be a great 6-7 hours. Same goes for COD4 single player.
TheNickel, it would depend by what you think is "Good Graphics." Because to some, the Gears 2 footage has incredibily smooth animations, and looks to be running in 60 frames per second. That to some people is good graphics.

The screenshots that were released were actually bullshots. I think the resolution of the images were something like 2880p or something like that.
