I have the original Slim model and the only thing I don't like about it is it has just 2 USB slots. Other than that it is very quiet. The new super slim looks cheap to me. The original PS3 (Phat) could play PS2 games and had a more expensive look and feel to it but it also ran hotter and the fans could get loud. I personally don't care about the other OS feature since I never used it.
Sony did a great job at cutting costs but I don't think the new super slim model...

It goes hand and hand. It's like saying I want better movies, not blu-ray over DVD. Technology helps further the immersion of gaming. If I feel like Gran Tursimo 6 graphics are much cleaner than Gran Tursimo 5 and the PS4 helps make it possible then why wouldn't I want that?
Because it was so long in development and when it was finally released it still didn't have the refinement of a finished game.

jujubee88, Polyphony didn't get their real game out until later than anticipated. It didn't come out until 4 years after the system was released. So that would coincide with the original comment of it taking years before they really exploit the hardware.
I don't expect the PS4 to have as many issues with developers. Which hopefully means less delays.

It's a dream line-up. That's why I feel the Wii U line-up wasn't exactly stellar for me. I wanted a new Mario game like Mario Galaxy of N64, not a side-scroller. Having Pikmin 3 as well would have been better too. That's why I hope the PS4 has at least 2 must have games. The PS3 launch was quite weak as well with Resistance being the main exclusive.

And that is what it should all boil down to, having fun. Not telling everyone it's not as good as playing on a controller or that ios games shouldn't be taken seriously. It's about expanding the market and making games more accessible while still retaining the challenge for those who want challenging games. How is that a facepalm when games on the Dreamcast, PSP, DS and Xbox 360 are not pirated due to DRM or blocking people from accessing their own software? The reason why games are pirated is because they can be. Using the excuse you can only use the same software up to 5 different times for certain PC games does not validate piracy.

People should voice their concerns but do it a constructive manner. What they shouldn't be doing is bothering those who may enjoy the game. We also don't need people egging the DMC fans on that may not like the new game.
So far reviews are looking very positive but I imagine the focus will then shift to sales.
