It's wrong to generalize an entire fan base. I too am a fan if Sony's but its no secret N4G make up is largely Playstation fans. With that comes fanboys sadly. Nobody seems to know why there is such an imbalance here. This isn't about Xbox versus Playstation, it's the representation of all gamers. When you add up PC, Wii/Wii U, Xbox and handhelds together it still falls behind Playstation 3 discussions. Why? How can one system that has sold roughly the same as the Xbox 36"...

Looks good but I'm concerned about how linear and how many QTE's occur.
Sony is back on track and are looking good moving forward. The TV division remains the biggest wild-card. Sales are likely down across the board. They will try and push 4K sets but I don't see that breaking much ground for at least a few years. We aren't even getting 1080p content for cable vision yet.
So that explains why you continue to bash Microsoft every chance you get, you're a indie developer. Makes perfect sense now, otherwise most people would have simply moved on to discuss things they are actually interested in.
Now we will see if Microsoft will allow self-publishing.
Forza 5 will have dedicated servers and run at 60fps and will be in 1080p. So mind telling me what you're doing in a Xbox One topic other than to talk about specs? This is about games and so far I have yet heard anything from you about games. If people want to focus on the best specs they would be supporting the PC platform the most, but again this is about the Xbox and games.
Seems to me some people have a lot of time on their hands with hidden agendas instead.

That's why I bought a PS3, for games like Gran Turismo. The same reason I'll be getting the Xbox One, for games like Forza.
I play games, some prefer to play consoles. When you have money you tend to forget about the consoles and start concentrating on just the games.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say those who like the PlayStation systems better will like the new Dualshock 4 more while those who enjoyed the Xbox systems more will like the Xbox One controller. Eat your heart out Michael Pachter.

People only care about themselves. 100 studios could close and they wouldn't care as long as they don't infringe on their consumers rights (which don't even exist in the first place when it comes to disc based games).
It is Microsoft's fault, they did a very poor job explaining how it works and why it's beneficial. What really hurt them is there was no signs that the consumer was going to get any compensation like Steam does with it's pricing and sales...

Mandatory Kinect is only a problem if you make it one. That is their vision, just like the Wii was with a motion controller and the Wii U and the Gamepad. Sony also tried something different with the PSP Go and it failed. At least Microsoft is able to make changes and it likely stemmed from less than positive response for pre-orders. It's about money, always has been and always will be.
