That's what I thought too.
Anyways Madden was very guilty of per-rendered screenshots of what Madden may look like on next gen. systems (when the Xbox 360 launched). It didn't even look close to those screens. Killzone 2 also caused a lot of controversy. While the game was visually impressive there was no way they could get those animations and that amount of detail.

That's a good point. Needless to say they would never admit there was a PS4 version even if it were true unless it was going to have a simultaneous release like they did with Zelda on the Wii/Gamecube. However that was delayed so they could finish the Wii port. It doesn't make as much sense to delay this game so they can have two versions. The PS3 install base is much larger than the Gamecube was.
Civ Revolution was a dumbed down version of the Civ series. They can say whatever they want, they are the ones making the games. You can also invest in a PC that is likely about the same price as the upcoming Xbox and PS4 that will run Civ games.
It's about choice. People choose to invest in consoles or a PC rig or both. Gaming is a hobby, not a right. Can everyone afford a PS3, Xbox 360 and a Wii U? No. That's why you choose what's best for you and not all games ...

I hope Microsoft does more internally. These partnerships only seem to lead to timed exclusive deals and DLC. Sure they help in the short term but Microsoft really needs to invest more into their own ip's and not just concentrate on those that are popular or Kinect titles.
