They should create a pizza sim game with Kinect. Then charge consumers 80 Microsoft points for every topping so that they can create their own personal pizza's. Sharing pizza's online and trading recipes would surely bump Xbox Live memberships well past 50 million.

Agreed, but it's a bad sign they mentioned the top 3 when the 3rd choice (shooters) was well behind the other two. They should have just mentioned the top two as they were very close.
If Killzone came out on the PC and was capped at 1080p and ran at 30fps I don't think many PC gamers would be calling it a high end PC game. We've already seen games like Battlefield 3 run well beyond 30fps and well beyond 1080p on PC's quite awhile ago. Not only that but it supported way more people online on the PC. This is why it's awesome news hearing the PS4 will have 8gb of ram. We should have a console that is now quite powerful.

I will say this as a Plus member since it started, it has gotten better. We get more free games now, Vita has been added (and not just throwaway games either). We also get more new games with discounts than when the service first came out.
I have gotten my $5o worth long before the year expires each time I renew. I would like to see more beta's though.

If Microsoft is smart (many times I question that) they will come out with a $199 system that has a subscription model built in. A 3 year term that gives consumers Xbox Live Gold as well as paying off the system. I would think a $9.99 a month would suffice. That's $550 in the end and likely apply to the cheaper model. I expect both Sony and Microsoft to offer two variations, the cheaper being $349-$399 and the other priced at $449-$499.

Once you're playing online they are almost identical. Where Live has its benefits is how you get there and the social services surrounding it. From simply hitting the button on your controller to mute players (that actually stay muted forever until you unmute them), to playing with friends and staying connected while switching games and being able to voice chat the whole time. I doubt they are laughing because the PS4 is getting the press, the new Xbox isn't aside from rumors. So anytime a next gen. game is mentioned they ignore the new Xbox because they are not allowed to say anything just yet.
In the end it probably won't matter too much but right now the PS4 is getting better press.
