What awards did Avatar receive? It certainly wasn't best actor, writing or best picture was it?
Uncharted is a fun series. Not sure why we need to crap over it. Sure the story has plot holes and the seriousness isn't really there. It's like watching a Michael Bay movie, you don't go in expecting Oscar screenplays but to be entertained. Uncharted 3 was probably the most overrated of them all but that's because #2 set the bar so high.

Those who disagree with him are simply out of touch with reality. The people who frequent this forum are trying to keep the glory days alive that console gaming will forever be like its always been and exclusives being the driving force. This guy makes millions of dollars hedging what the mainstream public are looking for in video games. This is why this hardcore crowd often times conflicts with real world sales.

What is a makret? Is it just the U.S. makret?
Profit:
"Sony's annual profit was 43 billion yen ($458 million) - roughly what was expected.
In the Game segment, sales were down 12.2 per cent and operating income down 94 per cent to $18 million, whoopsie daisy."
That profit (458 million) was also due to selling off assets, namely property. Good reaction to the PS4 will surely help moving forward.

"combined PSP and Vita sales raised...
I'd like to know the quality as well and if it notifies you right away what you can record and what you can't. Will it also be easily accessible through the cloud?
Another member (GribbleGrunger) has mentioned about a possible flip-out for the touchpad if I remember correctly. I thought more in the lines of the Trackpad from Apple where it's removable.
If I only had one platform to choose it would be the PC. It's the best platform to sustain a never ending supply of games and can be scaled pending on investment. In theory I could play the latest Battlefield for example on a mid-priced system and have it toned down to run smoothly. Then in a year I could upgrade if I so choose and have a new experience with the highest settings. I can also play the original Grand Theft Auto or even older titles that are still being sold today.

Are you suggesting it still doesn't work or it didn't work in the beginning? Two very distinct different things.
I am not defending their decisions but with piracy rampant on the PC this may have helped sales. Diablo III certainly sold well. We will have no idea how much it would have sold if it was DRM free but at the end of the day that game was a very big success on the PC. Does anyone know how many games sell over 10 million on the PC any longer that's not a M...
"What this means is that, contrary to Ubisofts initial word, the PS4 (and ostensibly PC) versions are being scaled upwards – meaning the game has been created with PS3 memory restrictions in mind."
And people still think consoles are not holding back PC gaming.
Precisely. There are no facts yet so how can you separate fact from fiction? Some of these rumors may very well come true but we won't know until we get an official word which the 21st will (hopefully) explain in detail.
CommonSenseGamer, you shouldn't say such 'hateful' things in a topic about hateful things said. Some people won't be able to let it go.
That's not a bad idea.
They will be there. They will have games playable. There will be media and game journalists there too in a private event. So in the end we will get all the information we would have gotten anyways. I've never been to a E3 so the only difference is I don't have to watch 90 minutes watching them embarrass themselves, talk about game sales, and have actors on stage pretending to have fun (this goes for all the events, not just Nintendo).
Yeah but if Gabe Newell gave us each a Steambox and a double cheeseburger they would sell the most.
I can't wait until we get all the info then maybe we can actually talk about the games and the systems instead of all these rumors.
The game is $10. What are you expecting, a AAA 100 million dollar game? I don't know why people can't just play the game and try and have fun instead of all of this drama. Who the hell cares what he says? I don't know the guy. I couldn't care less what he does in his personal life or what he thinks. If the game is fun it's fun. If it;s garbage it's garbage. Base it off of experience, not what the National Enquirer writes or some tweet he wrote.

@darth
"why...
does each generation have to be about platforms winning and losing?"
They don't. The real winners are the ones who play any game they choose regardless of which system it's on. I guess some people need to validate their purchase more than others.
Some see it as a sports team cheering them on. How can anyone actually cheer a company on like a sports team? Sony and Nintendo come from Japan, is this an East versus...
No point in having an opinion saying Battlefield 3 will be like Call of Duty. We don't know anything about it yet. I guess some people just like to focus on the negatives more than the positives. It would be different if I were responding to someone who is quite level-headed and can show a positive attitude and a negative one. When most comments are negative the credibility gets tossed aside and comes across of more like whining and complaining than an opinion.

Respect goes hand in hand. He should have been more reserved but a lot of people on forums are just downright negative, aggressive and ignorant.
Here we go again, pessimism at its finest.
This is great news because we will get some great core games and they are making new Star Wars movies for quite awhile now that Lucas sold it off. Some thought 1313 was going to be scrapped.
@DragonKnight
Please provide your facts. I would like to know where you got this information.
