Can you name another robot trex with rocket launchers on its back?
That trex is straight Horizon.
Cool.
I enjoyed it while it lasted, thoroughly.
I had the most kills with my knife, I’d sneak ALL game, destroying AA batteries 🔪
Too bad the industry hadn’t figured out how yet to support online games long term with additional content and MTXs.
MAG
Riddick is a gem.
I still wish to go back and finish the lastish level
It’s a standard NPS question, relax….
Are you part of a Game Pass commercial?
This trailer was obviously made when the game was still planning to launch at the end of the summer…. It’s weird seeing “welcome” after a delay to q2 2023.
It looks great for a GP game, but yeah…. Who would pay $70 for a game that looks so much like L4D?
Back 4 Blood didn’t do well at all, even on GP.
Too bad CD couldn’t make this work….
Sony has earned trust.
I trust them to launch in 2022. I don’t need more of a preview to be excited. To produce a preview would be nice, but certainly not worth making if it would divert resources from the ACTUAL game.
It takes months of work, minimum, to planned a polished reveal.
If the options are show more gameplay and launch in 2023, or make everyone crazy with no info but they launch 2022, still….
….then I think everyone would happily choose the latter.

All 3 of those games can be played on last gen consoles, and PC.
All 3 are NOT exclusive games to XsX. Starfield will be the first exclusive for the $500 console, one full year from now, and 2.5 years after initial launch of the premium hardware.
@exthun M$ is rated there across only 5 distinct titles, while Sony is rated across 10. And 2 of those 5 M$ games are racing and flight sim games. I know they are great for their genre, but I have zero interest on their genre as a whole, personally.
So, for me as a consumer, Sony had a better 2021 for game releases. They had double the amount of distinct titles, and, just looking at the games I care about, Sony has better games FOR ME. If you want a racing and flying ga...
Maybe? It did change the landscape.
It doesn’t need to.
Can Xbox game development keep up with Sony’s output?
Ps5 exclusives:
Demon Souls
Returnal
R&C
XsX exclusives:
Coming in 2023, 2.5 years after the console launched, almost half of the generation…. Remind you of any other consoles? ARE they coming, Phil?
I would not trade Sony’s AAA lineup for XGP, ever, but I can see why others might: $15 a month never offered so much access to games.
But, for people willing to pay $70 for a great game, Sony offers MORE. It’ll just cost ya more than $15/month to enjoy all of it.
I’ll happily pay more to own “great” games instead of subscribe monthly to a revolving pool of ~100 “good” games.
It’s a quality vs quantity competition, and I and many Ps5 ow...
@Orchard: Sony has higher output of first party games. A day-one release for all of their great games via a service would cost more for them.
M$ hasn’t even managed to meet their 4 AAA first party games a year promise yet, let alone maintain game pass’ price for years after meeting that promise.
Neat, I was honestly always wondered about this
