Maybe if it was the only notable exclusive for the year (which has happened before for me as an Xbox gamer), but this game is sandwiched in between 2 AAA releases for ps5.

I think “fun” is pretty subjective.
People love AC games, but I hate em because the side content is all about quantity over quality.
I love Alien Isolation, but most people need a drink after trying to play the game for only 30 seconds.
I love Death Stranding, but most people will be turned off by the focus on unique mechanics like ropes over popular mechanics like guns.

Alien and Dead Space were great, but I’d call out Dead Space TWO for a handful of fantastic set pieces and encounters relating to SPACE.

Sony is backed by a much smaller volume of electronics hardware sales.
This impacts strategies.

Part 1 and 2 are unmatched for their genre, and part 1 came out nearly a decade ago.

I’ve always heard his games have repetitive portions. I appreciate unique and creative games, but repetition dilutes even the greatest games (ie Arkham Asylum).

It’s hilarious that since Xbox hasn’t had an enviable exclusive for over a decade, their base seems to feel entitled to getting the PS games they turned away from available on PC for them.
That’s not how consoles and IPs work. Pick a horse to bet on, or buy both consoles to bet on both, and accept the outcome. Plenty of people expected Microsoft’s decade drought. Only fanboys and casual gamers were blind to what has come to pass.
