Most fans are more eager to learn about Factions. Part 1 is for Sony and new fans, which is fine, but naturally not making waves.
They shouldn’t known to add an extra digit for this game. 10,000 hours is unlikely for most games, but Elden Ring obviously would’ve been one of the few to warrant the potential for few.

I think they are only releasing this to give people a fresh option to play the story before watching the tv show.

I’ve been stuck on the same bosses for Cuphead since two weeks after it’s release. I hit walls in Demon Souls too, but at least I overcome them by the end of the week.
Cuphead is a cool game, but it is honestly too hard IMO. The following difficult games are still easier than Cuphead:

Doom Eternal on Ultra Violence
Halo Trilogy on Legendary
Horizon 2 on Ultra Hard

We should be measuring the percentage of the player base that buys it. That’s a factor over time, just like the cost of tickets impacts movie ticket gross revenue (Avatar set a record with 3D ticket prices).

I went all digital for this gen, and I still want the steelbook ONLY for GoW 2. You see, the first game came with a very similar, and equally cool steelbook. So, having both makes them both cooler. Ditto for the map and “carved” figures.

The box is huge, but no more dumb than my Death Stranding case for my baby lamp… one will be stored on top of the other 🤗
My PS4 games seemed locked at 60, but on also have not played any of the games you mentioned.
I’m okay with this in THIS case, because I want a steelbook to match my steelbook for the first game.
With that said, I’d be surprised if they ship empty steelbooks in the future. Considering how this case matches the one made for the the first game, this feels like something they mulled over heavily. Why else ship an empty case?
Isn’t VRR good for masking brief frame rate drops, which are very rare on ps5? I’m sure you’re right, but I imagine just knowing that creates more of a problem than it does in practice.
