@Crow
How about the first year-long hiatus CoD is taking in 2023?
Is that not an opportunity to be replaced?
I have to agree with you.
I think ppl that buy CoD EVERY year are a little dim, but that doesn’t make them any less attainable as customers.
If Sony could make a shooter that was worth playing for years on, even if we all had to buy $60 worth of DLC every year, then they will have filled that need CoD fills annually: guarantee fun, fresh shooting content with friends around the holidays, every holiday (except in 2023…).
Factions could b...
I hope Sony isn’t wasting money on blocking deals…. I hate whenever either side spends money that doesn’t produce games.
I know it’s a huge franchise, but Halo was huge too. CoD came along when Halo was on the decline and secured the throne. But we all know that CoD does not deserve to be the best selling game EVERY year; people just buy it out of habit.
Now, CoD isn’t exactly on a decline, but it really only shines 1/3 of releases (because IW only makes that 1/3).
And, Sony does have the talent to MAYBE dethrone them one year, and I think that is the mission of releasing...
Evolve was a great game, Ryse had its chance as a launch title. They had plenty of exposure.
By “we” I think you mean Game Pass fans.
Did they tweak the AI?
Woah, a coop beta, that’s almost a AAA exclusive for the XsX. It isn’t, but it ALMOST is (:
God luck with that lag input.
I still like my console in my living room.
Honestly, I’d rather play a half a dozen great PS games than wait the entire gen for ES6 to finally come out.
I know Xbox owns most western studios, but their output has been nonexistent for the first two years of this gen. Hopefully that isn’t an indicator for XsX’s library being as barren as the Xbone’s.
I bought an Xbox over a ps2 for Halo 2 (regardless of how many games were on ps2). I’m just not as easily swung solely by ES6 as I was by Halo 2. Pr...
The third year of every generation is the breakout year for content.
It is coming…. For ps5
I hope it still impresses, and doesn’t go the route of Cyberpunk.
That is all.
I mean, idc.
If you have 50 plats, and the first ten are lame, then I’m not finishing your list.
I don’t respect you.
So what did your money buy? That’s up to you.
“Could’ve done a lot of things”
Like what? How could’ve Sony overcame historical supply chain shortages during a historic global pandemic, besides by being a billion dollar company like M$ who can afford billon dollar solutions?
M$ didn’t properly invest in first-party game support for a decade: they don’t deserve their fan base.
Lots of hobbies are inaccessible. Do you think everyone has the steady hands to build ships in bottles?
But nobody is accusing ship bottling conventions of being exclusionary. That’s just a difficult hobby that nobody cares about.
Every hobby becomes exclusionary at some point. I didn’t feel welcomed to my school’s basketball team. If I wanted to play basketball, I had to join a recreational team.
Why erase a challenge for all at th...
You had Battlefield and all major sports franchises; you could’ve been what Activision is right now, if not bigger.
You mismanaged.
🤘
Ffs, do you know how much I regret giving you all $100 just so that I could get a cool skin for the late and great Michael K. Williams?!?
Returnal is a funner “quick run” game, but Control has a whole other layer of world building.
They wish they could stop planning for new consoles every year…. But I like this setup. Keep planning :)
