they knew the danger but had the callous attitude that if anything happened, they were protected by waivers. Well, the woman's family didn't sign any waivers, so they still have their rights under the law.
It doesn't say 360 sold 128k, it says the total sales of PS3, Wii and 360 COMBINED were 128k
Everyone is getting their credit card statements for December in and having to devote most of their extra cash to paying them down. These numbers aren't necessarily anything to worry over.
Even if Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo all get out of the console business within the next 10 years, someone else will be there to replace them and there will still be competition and fanboys.
It was an interesting point made about RFOM being a launch title. If Sony had to subsidize RFOM to get them to make it, then that is another loss that they are taking to get PS3 out there. I just think Sony is dumping too much money into the PS3 and they could end up losing a large chunk o...
so when you all run out and buy a non-Sony HDMI cable or an HDMI to DVI adapter so you can see Blu Ray movies in 1080p and something happens and your PS3 gets fried, Sony flips you the bird and says too bad.
my ex-girlfriend had a temporary job in an NHS hospital for a while. It was entry level and she was making over 7 pounds an hour to do filing and scheduling work. That's almost $14 an hour for ENTRY LEVEL!! We have no such jobs that pay that much to someone fresh off the street. I was making around $11.50 an hour then, and worked fewer hours than she did and still managed to bring home more than she did, and it really pissed her off sometimes. The NHS is killing everyone over there. They have...
is the minimum wage has to be high to cover the cost of the NHS. If you had people in $5-$6 (about 2.5-3 pounds)an hour jobs over there, they would use up more in NHS benefits than they pay in taxes every year and the country would go broke. So yeah, when the girl at the supermarket checkout counter is making $10-$11 an hour and the guy who sells you tickets at the movies is making $10-$11 an hour and the kid flipping burgers at McDonald's is making $10-$11 an hour, it tends to drive up the p...
when the US and UK still used coins made out of mostly silver, there was over $4 to the pound. At that rate a PS3 would be over $1700 in the UK.
that his mom obviously doesn't give a rat's ass about what her kid does, so blame it on the video game.
People on the xbox.com forum were already enraged at Treyarch for not fixing the multiplayer bugs before selling a new map pack, and now the map pack doesn't work and the original bugs still remain. CoD is about to go to sh*t on the 360 platform.
the only hard data they have to go on is registration information from both the original XBox and the 360. A lot of people don't register the products they buy because they don't want to be spammed with junk e-mail or snail mail. Probably a lot more people are coming to 360 from the original XBox than they think.
And if this information is true, even though they are pulling in new users from other platforms, somehow they still managed to lose a large chunk of their original us...
they won't even give us a proper version of Dynasty Warriors, only Empires. Fanboy bastards.
Why the hell does the demo have to be multi-player??
Most consoles never use more than 70% of their available power within their life cycle. PS3 won't be any different.
Heavenly Sword is being delayed. It probably won't even be close to the European launch date.
Too bad Toshiba is lining up Chinese, Taiwanese and S. Korean manufacturers to produce $199 HD-DVD players right now.
It looks like Dreamcast support in Japan is officially over. Without the discs, no new games can be released. :-(
Certain areas won't have stock. New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, etc. Big cities that have enough fanboys living in them to keep it sold out for a while. Everyplace else, though, where the fanboys are fewer and already have theirs, it is sitting. Once the fanboys in the densely populated areas have theirs, they will begin to build up there, too.
Target=5 60gb
Wal-Mart= 4 60gb 1 20gb
I was considering getting one myself, several times this week. The things that are missing from the 20gb version really don't matter much. I am sure someone will market an external media reader eventually, and the hard drive is easily upgraded. More than likely the wireless can even be added in later. It probably uses a mini-PCI wireless card like many notebooks use and the slot is there, just the card isn't. It's down to finding out which card the 60gb model uses and whether drivers are need...
