Blu Ray is no Betamax because Betamax actually had superior image quality over VHS.
but that isn't the same chart you posted originally.
And since you value that site so highly

Look which game system is dead last in EVERY category.
No links to prove they are in 37 countries?? Also, a lot of the countries they went after this time are places where video game makers have feared to tread. Seriously, do you really think they are going to push a lot of hardware in India and China?? The damn Chinese are still cranking out $10 NES clones by the millions for christ's sakes.
An American game in the Japanese top 10 sales?? Imagine if they had shipped enough games to meet the demand. They would easily sell enough consoles to pass PS3.
is probably one of those guys who paid $2000 for a PS3 on ebay the first week it was out and is desperately trying to justify paying so much money for a machine with no games, a crappy online service, and a movie format that is going to fail.
In addition to being head of the Catholic church, the Pope is also Head of State for Vatican City, which is a sovereign nation, so in a way he is like an emperor or king. It's ironic, in a way, because it was Mussolini, a fascist, who recreated the Vatican as a sovereign state. After Garibaldi evicted the French from the Vatican and the Papal States earlier in the century, everything the church controlled became part of Italy.
I haven't lost my grip on the Wiimote yet and I have a Radio Shack battery charger and NiMH batteries.
the date is irrelevant. It is still a supposed partner in pushing Blu Ray expressing doubts in the technology by releasing a machine that supports the competition.
but your little chart only goes back 24 hours. Try checking the data for the last week and month and HD-DVD sales are far ahead.
And the date on the article I posted doesn't mean it is not still valid. Samsung released a product with HD-DVD support while they were supposed to be firmly in the Blu Ray camp. They also made a combo player. Those aren't the actions of a firm partner in the technology. They are the actions of a company with strong doubts about the future of Blu Ray...
are just upset that every time one of you posts an article in favor of Blu Ray, I always seem to find one that shoots it down.
So firmly on board with Blu Ray that they are putting HD-DVD drives in their notebooks. Hmmmmm....
They don't sound like a very committed Blu Ray partner to me.
Samsung is waffling now. They have a notebook computer with an HD-DVD drive in it and are working on an all formats blue laser player just like the LG unit.
But will it be game content that you can't get elsewhere or will it be crap content like developer interviews and concept art??
They put a 360 ad and a Gears of War ad on the same page as a PS3 article!! LOL!!
even for a startup company. I can't see him making anything meaningful with such a small amount of money.
the fact that Benedict is German and speaking out against video games and Germany also wants to outlaw video games means anything?
are taking up too much floor space so they want to push them out and be rid of them.
Sony must be throwing their weight around and threatening to revoke Gamestop's "favored retailer" status if they don't start pushing PS3 hard, but who in their right mind is going to believe for one minute that the Gamestop employee actually believes PS3 is the better value with only a handful of games and a high price?? Anyone with an ounce of sense is going to go Wii60 before they get a PS3.
Sorry guys, but all your PS3's are gathering dust on USA and Japanese retailers shelves. :-(
