A perfectly lipsynced russian Keanu Reeves, what more can a man want?
@bob that makes more sense yeah.
Its really just a formality and has to do with taxes etc, not with making games or anything. No new studios willl pop up because of it.
not many people are buying their games for PC? what are you even talking about, PC is going stronger than it has been for the last 6-8 years or so.
anything better than a mobile (propably gacha) game ;)
Let's hope its a switch game then.
yeah, so it forces me to play differently. Change the game's difficulty at the same time would have helped with that as well. After playing Witcher 2, the combat of Witcher 3 was disappointing to me. Yes it looked nice and flashy, but there was hardly any depth to it. The rest of the game was fantastic so that made up for the lackluster combat a bit.
You could say: dont spam dodge as much then. but its not my job to design a good combat system or difficulty for a game. ...
Witcher 3 could have used a stamina bar, spamming dodge being the most effective way to fight got boring real fast.
This mother****** surely never played DoS 1 and 2. Shameful slandering Larian's name while not knowing a single thing about them.
It's kind of funny this clueless self proclaimed "journalist" complains about incomplete games etc, while hes doing far worse to the articles he writes, incomplete, misinformed, clueless, clickbaiting.
@streaky
for starters, Sony laid off staff when they sold their divisions, and what studio(s) did MS close in recent memory?
there is no difference between MS and EA? small little detail is that one of them sells consoles, the other doesn't which is obviously something you oversaw. another small differnce is that one makes it living mainly off annual releases and mtx, small detail i know, no problem you oversaw that. There is a lot of these small details u dont know abou...
I never finished the game but I do remember driving around and just getting into crazy battles all the time. Might need to replay it to refresh my memory.
Im not sure if I like(d) it more than farcry 1, because playing farcry 1 for the first time when it just released was just mindblowing for the time, especially that first level blew me away.
so they have to make a decision to either:
break contract with sony and pay them off
or
release the game on ps consoles as well and make more money with copies sold on that platform as well.
Also they said future games will be on a case by case basis so im pretty sure at least 1 or 2 bethesda blockbusters will be exclusive.
@deus that happens in a lot of games, not just Destiny. In PoE for example the gear chase is really enjoying although it can get really repetetive, but once you find that certain legendary or the weapon base you wanted or something, it feels oh so rewarding.
Maybe it also helps that there are a lot of different ways to acquire (semi-)specific items, and once you find the good item you need to get to work on modding/crafting it.
@pumble
not a big fan of all his work either, but I do think he does more in depth work than 99% of the journalists, also on topics that most of the journalists hardly talk about. Too bad he presents it too sensational most of the time.
Excuse me dood, I am a Prinny not a penquin
doesnt have to be the case, it can also just be lazy design. Not that either is a good thing.
Im for sure waiting for reviews before getting this, it could be fun if the combat is enjoyable and it has a statisfying endgame loop.
ofcourse they say they dont like to do forced over time, thats what any pr guy from a company says. First they promised no forced overtime and try and making stabs at rockstar for having forced overtime, then backpeddling on that promise, ofcourse any company representative is gonna say we dont like forced overtime.
Im not saying or even implying that the forced overtime is not paid or anything, or thats cdpr is a horrible work environment, probably the opposite. but when t...
@Stef in my definition of devs, qa testers are included. Basically everyone who has anything to do with the creation of the game, and ofcourse testers are helping create the game. Games can have the most deep and interesting systems and deep gameplay, but if it doesnt play well, is buggy or isnt statisfying to play none of that matters.
@darkwing people mindlessly supported EA and their annual releases, look what they are doing now. Annual releases with hardly any improvements, yet they wipe out all your progress from the previous games and make you buy all the lootbox stuff again. Not that insomniac/sony would go that route, but the more you let them get away with things, the more they will start pushing the boundaries.
I rather have people being overly critic of companies than say nothing at all. What I ...
no, YOU're breathtaking!
