the statements they release are just unbelievable, fixing the game is the least they can do...the bare minimum. Now they act like they are gonna take a big financial hit for it or something when it shouldnt have released in this state either way.

@sully i agree, as a consumer i dont really care what the reason is they brought it out now. bad managment, investors pressure or what have you. It just doesnt justify what they put out as the final product. I judge the game as it comes out, not with the promise of what it can be in 6 months or so when they actually finished the game. Combine that with their deceit and shadyness with review copies and that they couldnt only show footage CDPR gave them and not their own gameplay, its shamefull...

i havent played the game. but having characters/equipment sold through randomized packs is the definition of p2w since it impacts gameplay. This game will never be better than botw since they develop gacha games around monetization first.
yeah its a fresh story, although you will miss a lot of the references to their previous games, but those are just there for fans of the series anyway. Nothing important story/character wise you will miss out on.

so they are making a movie where they used the most generic way to introduce world of monster hunter, instead of making a movie about an actual inhabitant of that world, where you actually have to do proper worldbuilding etc, to set up for a good movie. and now they want to put that shit into the game where they spend thousands of hours making it feel like a monster hunter world, thats just insulting to the devs.
