Cmv38, i dont know man. FF14 was really horrible before realm reborn, like REALLY horrible. They reduced the exp u got after u allready gotten a level for a day, hardly any quests, animations sucked and too long, combat slow in general, no endgame etc etc etc.
Anthem has the combat down (for the most part), it just needs cool loot and a cool endgame (loop)
@sushima not true, yes in most cases you want to make proft, but there is also something as getting brand loyalty instead of making profits, because brand loyalty is basically also profit, just not at the moment.
Look what sony did with ps3 for example. Sometimes its worth taking a financial hit just to get customers through the front door.

they have a LOT of writers, like a LOT. I saw an interview with Larian once and when they expanded into other countries with a couple of studios, i doubt they are the size of their HQ, but still. At each location they had a couple writers working together on the game.
The studio head of Larian is also great, I love the guy and his humor ^^

well there is a bit more to it. I also think what they are doing is ridiculous, but a console port brings quite some issues along. THe whole premise of the game is that it has good graphics and that it looks cool, from what I heard it is very demanding power wise, so I doubt current gen can run it. 2nd, putting it on console means every patch you make to the game needs to be verified by the console maker, so each time they add a ship or make a patch etc etc, they will have to go through that ...
I think you are confusing the ps5 reveal with a first date
Im not saying that E3 was a good show lately, but what it did bring is excitement. The days leading up to it, a few leaks here or there. Getting hyped for what x or y company might revive from the dead etc etc.
Also having the big 3 all have a presentation within a few days of eachother was just hyp. Yes Sony has their conference today and im stoked for it, but not to the level of E3 knowing there were gonna be 3 +3rd party conferences all showing new stuff.

The guy is a genius, but it doesnt automatically mean that they can make a good rpg. I have faith that Santa Monica's game will be great. but im not gonna blindly say that they will create an amazing RPG without any prior experience making them. They are exceptional at creating action games, for the rest we will have to see.

I remember before this gen came out they were talking about native 1080p and 60 fps constantly and that only happened with a couple games. All these promises can kiss my fucking ass. Im not gonna get hyped about it anymore, it will only disappoint.

@ssj2, Sony owns the right to spiderman movies, only certain ones either mcu spiderman movies or non-mcu ones (cant remember which) but i dont think they own the rights to the games, yes they got an exlusive but not the exclsuive rights.
The spiderman movie deal comes from when marvel was doing bad financially and was selling of its properties (they bought most back by now), but i dont think games were included in that.
