@Cole so the definition of night and day changes when we are talking about remasters? so now we should call small visual changes big visual changes because we are talking about a remaster? makes no sense

doesn't matter if you are talking about remakes or remasters, if something didn't improve majorly there is no reason to start using different words for it.

Also he wasnt comparing a remake to a remaster, he was elaborating with an example (demon s...

there is no average wage for a job, since a lot of it is based on which country it is in. Also 75k even for 1st world countries is extremely high, that is about 6k a month. Especially since dev is kind of a broad word for a job.

I googled cdpr average wage/salary and what I found was 6-8k polish currency which is about 1.2-1.6k. no clue if those numbers are real, but they seem pretty realistic for a good job in Poland.

then how do you have time to type this? Get back out there, Tiger!!

on a serious note, this makes no sense, because there is someone with a lower wage that also has troubles I cant comment on someone with a higher wage who has problems? Strange that on a website about videogames there are people talking about the people who create videogames huh?

the reason this is got blown up is because CDPR stated publicly they would make sure no MANDATORY overtime would be issued, there is overtime there all the time apparently, though not forced. Ofcourse when they make cheeky tweets making stabs at rockstar at how cdpr wont do forced overtime and then end up...doing ...ehhh.....forced overtime they are gonna get a lot of (deserved imo) media hate. If they try and portray themselves as saints in the media with how good they are for their gamers a...

it was teased in 2013.
So its been 4+ years and higher ups cant even manage how to finish this project without mandatory crunch while they did promise that publicly and gained public apraise for saying that. Ofcourse they should get flak for that, you reap what you sow. What crunch comes down to, is that the higher ups suck at planning and cant manage a project this size, either cut content or delay the game (both suck), but now the devs are the ones paying for that mistake. If the d...

hahahaha you think all devs at cdpr make 75k +? they are located in POLAND, do I need to elaborate more? ALso they hire a lot of young folks fresh out of college for assets creation etc.

There is a youtube channel of a woman who worked at there and left, cant remember the name. She had some interesting insight in how the studio works behind the scenes.

CDPR has publicly stated that they wouldnt do mandatory crunch, because they like to be seen as the saints of the gaming industry, which they are to a degree, but that also comes with the blowback of when they don't keep their promises people will break down on it harder.

Crunch doesnt happen in every industry, especially not mandatory crunch. Also crunch has a power dynamic aspect to it, maybe more so when its not mandatory. Crunch is also always the fault of the peopl...

it would only make sense? The last console Overwatch got released on, with a pretty big gap between it and other consoles was on the switch. Never seen switch players I know mention they play it, I feel like this might be more of a business move by acti/blizz than a genuine move by Sakurai.

If I had to tie overwatch to a system switch would be the last one, beta started on pc then game was released for consoles and 2-3? years or so later it came to switch, seems more like a...

being in gamepass doesnt mean the games are GAAS, like wtf. games as a service means a game continuesly demanding more money for its features and new expansions/cosmetics, like Destiny, Anthem or Forza.
Gamepass is just a way to get games cheaper and still on day one.

Otherwise we can say every game that releases even one DLC no matter how big or small is GAAS.
We can also say PS+ is GAAS then, but where u still have to pay for the DLC unlike gamepass. ...

@Sunny_D if sony has so much money why did they sell of a couple of their divisions a few years back?

the Nintendo should buy Sega also came from a place where Sega was doing really bad as a business, so it was also meant as a ways to keep them afloat.

what veterans does sony have that have experience with western rpgs? Sony hardly makes any rpgs, let alone western rpgs. There is a reason a lot of companies buyout other studios over creating new ones, because its hard to get a studio set up right.

@Fonger
CDPR is not worth more than Zenimax, what makes u even think that?
yes CDPR is blowing up the last 6 years or so, but look at that image that microsoft published for the acquisition with all the franchises of bethesda on it, do you really even believe for a second that CDPR even comes close to matching that in terms of monetary worth?

Doom - one of the most well known games of all time
ES: the biggest western RPG franchise
Quake +...

CDPR won't happen. Their whole image is based around being the good guys for gamers and independant from corporal influences. Combine that with the fact that there is also a publisher in CDPR, it won't happen.

You started off on a high note then ;)
I think my first roguelike was Don't Starve, if thats even considered a roguelike and the 2nd was Rogue legacy. Both fantastic games, but still there hasn't been a roguelike that beats Darkest Dungeon for me at least, Hades comes super close though, im just a sucker for turnbased combat.

I like when sony fans say something negative about sony, 99% of the time it always has to be paired with something negative about xbox as well ;)

I feel a bit cheated by Sony that they reveal this info now, im not sure if omission of info is the same as misleading, it just leaves a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth that they didn't mention this earlier. Maybe they saw xbox got blasted for the crossgen and crossplatform stuff they are doing and wanted to pair the "n...

amen to that.
I was a bit disappointed with the 1.0 release though, in early access they said that 1.0 would include new features and I havent seen any of that. Not that the game allready has content enough, but after reading that I expected some additional features which to my knowledge arent there in the 1.0 release.

Love the game still and happy that we finally get the conclusion to the story.

Ps3 emulators are quite hard to make/run good from what ive heard. The cell processor is not as easy to emulate. I think they mentioned before that the cell processor was more powerful than the ps4's, but apparently its hard to code for since hardly any machine uses cell processing.

Hell, even the army bought a crapton of ps3's and linked them together to build some kind of supercomputer.

I dont think its made by the ff14 team, just the director of that game. They are still pumping out ff14 expansions at a pretty decent pace, so it would surprise me if they also managed to do ff16 at the same time.

It's more likely that it's the 15 team.
