Im just curious how much GRR Martin is involved, with all the projects hes involved in currently I cant imagine him having much time to develop a fully fleshed out world for Elden Ring
I had the same, after modern warfare 2 I didn't buy any untill I had a ps4 and thought hey lets give CoD a shot again. Bought Advanced Warfare and it felt like the exact same game with some gadgets tacked onto it, returned it to the store within a couple of days. Haven't touched a CoD game since then

@rgr yeah and the game will need to be sealed for 99% of the retailers to even be eligible for a refund, same with Sony and MS. I know Sony has a policy that if you even started the download you cant refund it anymore, or was it after 2-4 hours of play? 90%+ of the players who bought it arent eligible with those criteria.
The fact is that they made the statement about refunds saying: if you want a refund contact Sony and MS and your retailer, knowing full well they wont get...
@mike Except they didnt offer full refunds, Sony and MS did. CDPR only referred them to Sony and MS implying that they talked to them about refunds, which they didnt. Only because MS and Sony allowed it, people got refunds. It's all lies upon lies with them and you want to forgive them for that? When put under pressure they showed their true colors and when they aren't they know just what to say to tickles core gamers balls the right way.

yeah man ^^ although they arent that populated anymore obviously. I think during festivals a lot of people come back (winter and lunar new year or something). There were about 3 full Kamadan districts on US servers at those times.
it was awesome back in the day yeah, besides the stiff movement I really love the game still.
servers arent that expensive to run, especially when they are low population. I still play guild wars 1 every now and then which was released in 2005
Hades is my goty, I love what they did with the characters and the story for a roguelike game. Combine that with a banger of a soundtrack, solid and fun combat and amazing voice acting and there is my goty ;)
the wii u first party titles were actually really good, im glad to see them remastered so more people will play them. Look at mk8 for example, would have been a waste for such an amazing game to not be played by more people.
from software can make stylized games even on older hardware, they never had the best graphic fidelity nor the smoothest framerates, but what they do have is the best atmosphere. So even if its also for last gen, im sure itll turn out fine.
After seeing what can be done with demon souls on ps5 I'd prefer it to be current gen only, but we cant have everything ;)

@rgr why ppl didnt wait for reviews? because there were none on the day of release u dummy, only ones given out were pc versions, and when you release a game to the public, you know, well it has to be playable.

@lebron wtf thats the oppsite world dude. CDPR are the ones trying to make a next gen game run on old ware, thats not the consumers fault, then covering up how bad it runs, only allow stock footage for reviews, no review codes for consoles etc etc. the list goes on with the shit they pulled. If i would have bought this for ps4 or xbone i wouldnt have expect a miracle, but i do expect the game to run properly (aka 30fps with a few dips here and there)

@lodos except investors arent bosses, the management at cdpr are the bosses......also this was eluding to how well the argument of: "investors pressured us so we released a total unplayable game after 8 years of development" would hold up in court, not about if investors are bosses or not.
yeah he probably does like a basic draft of the world/story and let the team flesh the rest out.
