while they are at it, they should change the name Joshua as well, really felt out of place as one of the main characters (supposedly) being called Joshua in a Final Fantasy game. Maybe its just me, but that name really didnt flow well for me.
why would any other price be a mistake? Sounds a bit odd saying that if they are not the price you think or hope it will be, Sony is making a mistake. Sony can do whatever the fuck they want and still make a profit at the end of the day.
The hardware price isnt Sony's moneymaker, they can probably sell them for 200 each and still make a huge profit of software sales from 1st/3rd party games after the 1st year, since software sales are the biggest moneymakers.
Never knew Too Human was supposed to be a trilogy, only about the countless delays and that the game was pretty mediocre (didnt play it myself). Promising the world will always sound like Molyneus in my eyes ;)
Exactly what I thought. Yes the game looks good, but they are kind of starting to sound like Molyneux now.
I personally rather have 5-8 forms you can shapeshift into that are fleshed out, instead of 70+ that are barebones. Still super hyped for this game though.
It doesn't look good by todays modern standards, but I actually kind of liked the style they went for, maybe its nostalgia. I prefer a style like this over lets say copying botw visuals for Sands of Time, since a lot of games lately have been adopting the botw style.
yes! I bought it a week ago or so and im hooked.
and as always a great soundtrack (especially during bossfights).
It's by far my favorite game from them now i've put some hours into it.
oh btw it's not a retelling of the greek mythology, its their own spin on the mythology in case you were expecting a retelling or something.
You should try the game Hades, its still in early acces though and its a roguelike, but it really does the greek gods and characters from mythology well, really well actually.
I remember having issues with it as well, though i cant specifically remember what it was. Think it had something to do with they gamecode that i bought. Did get it to work eventually and really enjoyed the game for a while.
I think a lot of people are happy there is a mid/high end gpu alternative from nvidia at the start of a new product line. If im not mistaken in the past it always took 2 years or so for them to release a midrange card below 800 bucks, I always stuck with amd over the years so im not that familliar with them.
its pretty obvious it wasnt prerendered, but after all the shit publishers have pulled it doesnt surprise me people are somewhat skeptical.
now dont tell me Sony is getting into the Gacha business ;)
Still hoping for a new battle for middle-earth, but It wouldnt surprise me if EA owns the rights to it or if in their contract was that only EA can make a succesor to it. Maybe a Total War: Middle Earth, that would be hella hype.
isnt that what a lot of companies do? Epic included. Squeeze as much money out of your customers without them being outraged about it.
Only this time it wasn't their platform Epic was doing it on.
The bossfight definetely looked more souls than GoW, but the fight with the group earlier was more GoW like. At the end they show some Dynasty Warriors like gameplay, so it might just be a mix of it. Different forms cover a couple of gamestyles it seems like.
I would love to see Capcom vs Nintendo or Sony, but that will probably never happen
@sonic so that if I want to play with my friends at launch for lets say party games or something that doesnt use dualsense, that i dont need to buy 4 controllers right away at launch and can just use my ps4 controllers.
edit: it not like this is a major advantage over xbox or something, its kinda negligable, but i would still prefer if ps4 controllers would work on ps5 and buy some different colour ones later on.
@mandingo
not really, its not like WB games is a free studio not owned by another company or anything. There is no reason for them to sell it in the first place.
they cant change the hardware anymore at this point, deals have been made, production pipelines set up, consoles allready produced maybe at this point.
come on this isnt a battle royale..... might as well call every racing game out there a battle royale then
My bad, i didnt mean playable character, just an important member of the cast which he seems to be. The name just stood out to me as really odd in a FF game, especially since it was said out loud a couple times.
