I doubt Avowed will drop next year, when they showed it off they were pretty early on in development. It seems this is gonna be their skyrim in terms of scope, i doubt well see it anytime before end of 2023 with Outer Worlds 2 also in devlopment there.

FF8 is my favorite, but i really wasnt a big fan of the space rescue mission, or how they handled the latter part of the story at all. basically once you are 80% through the game, they introduce the real plot, it felt a bit cheap and rushed. The rest of the game made up for that tenfold over though, it has my favorite OST, triple triad, the junction system (yeah when you cheese it, its not great) and amazing visuals.

how do you mean thats not a problem? that is the standard for pc games, that you can tinker your settings to your liking. its not only for the people who play on ultra, but also for people with a pc on the lower spectrum, so yes it does matter.

There is also barely any options to customize the graphics, you can set textures to high/low and another option to high/low. No AA customization, no vsync options or anything. It's really disappointing.
and what of that wasnt true? they have surpassed those by now, some of the new flagship phones are incredibly powerful. They wont be doing any impressive raytracing anytime soon, but theyre still pretty powerful for such small machines. The mobile market is also making tons of money, so that statement was actually pretty accurate besides that they didnt take into account new consoles releasing.
