I don't see it running any good on the steamdeck but maybe if they introduce enough options to lower the settings it might run semi decent.

it's not just about loyalty or sunk cost, pc is an open platform while consoles are closed platforms. If you for example want to mod, you will play on pc, no question about it. Also if you like indie games, steam is a fucking goldmine for that. I've been playing a lot of indie games over the last years and there just seems to be an endless amount of them on steam. Also not having games locked to a certain fps is a prettty big deal for me and I assume a lot of other pc players.

they also gave out beta keys where you had to sign an nda not to say anything negative about the game, otherwise you could not play. Don't support stuff like that :) surprised they even showed it here cause it looks terrible and it will fail faster than Artifact
Grinding Gear Games is also up there for me and if there is a main team that creates each new big mario game, they also deserve some credit, they've been delivering hit after hit
why the hell would insomniac work on an infamous remaster collection? They are one of the most talented studios in the world and you want them to do remasters?
ff16 has been worked on since 2015, that was preproduction so I'm not sure if we know when full production began, but that is a long time for a studio to be working on anything.
So I'm not sure if I believe it has made profit (already)

DF doesn't do reviews as far as I know....they do graphical analyses and ofc being the pixeljunkies that they are, they will absolutely love the graphical aspects of this game.
@storm if they're ms advertising arm then why do they still praise a game like Horizon to the heavens? doesn't pan out my man, but nice try my little pony.
those on pc that hit 4k 60fps have significantly better hardware than what's in the ps5 or xbox.
and when they give praise to a game made by your favorite plastic box maker are they also biased or lying? mfer watched an entire video focusing on the bar on the bottom just so they can say for a mili second they were lying thus proving their whole video useless to win an internet argument.
I payed so little attention to this franchise that I didn't even notice BO 3-5 had released

ff8 story is too much of a mess for them to remake it I think. Like out of nowhere you go to space and in the last disc there's the biggest exposition dump ever that there's an evil time travelling sorcerer in a castle you need to defeat. It's way less of a coherent story than let's say 7 or 9. Oh yeah and conveniently all the orphans lost their memory.
Regardless of that it's still one of my fav games of all time, I just don't see it happening.
I'm not sure if you can blame that on them releasing pc games day 1, they already did that for some of their 1st party games at the time I think? What killed their hardware sales was forcing kinect onto their players, no one asked for it and no one wanted it. They tried to take a piece of nintendo's pie and failed miserably.
A lot of the talent that made Origins as great as it was, has also left at this point so yeah it will probably be Dragon Age in name only.
I hope I'm wrong as well because the franchise definitely has a lot of potential.

Kinda baffling that a game that's obviously not taxing on hardware gets a graphics and balanced mode. Good game though but I really hope they hire a new UI designer for their next game
