I don't mind having to wait a long time for a new game in one of the franchises, but the end result needs to justify a long development cycle, which Starfield clearly didn't. Fingers crossed that ES6 will be good.
@jjb my bad I didn't realize the early access was included with that. I just hate the practice of this early access bs, it's even coming to single player games now.

Same for me, it was my favorite game for a good while after it launched and that's coming from someone who doesn't enjoy competitive shooters. I've considered playing Paladins but never bit the bullet, so many good games coming out that it's hard to spare some hours for a competitive game

most companies don't really bother if the community itself makes a 3rd party server, on pc at least. I'm not sure how difficult it is to make that kind of stuff happen for consoles and how Sony/MS would respond to it. I do know how nintendo would respond to it though
The show is really good, it's everything I expect from a video game adaptation. The main audience being the fans of the franchise, new viewers not being the target audience was not what I was expecting.

I personally didn't enjoy 2 as much as I did 1. Actually didn't even finish it.
I do praise that they didn't just carbon copy the 1st game and added more of everything, but I think that during the process a lot of what made Darkest Dungeon appealing to put a ton of hours in, was lost.
The new mode does look cool and I will definitely jump back into it and try it out.
