I enjoy the game, but right now I can't play it. Ubisoft implemented a 2 step verification...which is cool, but auto-initiated it on my account..rendering my account useless as I can't even log in to play my games.
Word of advice, if you're going to get any Ubisoft game, avoid their proprietary software like the plague. Its terrible, and their support isn't even available on the weekends if you can't access your account...
Watch Dogs...
They added 2step verification, and it auto triggered on my account, so I can't even access the games I own. Why would I even consider buying anything else from them ever again...
If this game has single player content and requires an online connection, then yes... they definitely...definitely do not deserve my money for implementing this sort of practice.
Wouldn't it be cool if ..you know..you made the timer optional via setting in the main menu? Granted, you shouldn't be able to switch once you start a new game. However, I understand that you would need to first develop the game with a timer on, and then give the option to turn it off and make subtle changes to the UI text when it mentions.. saving people by x amount of time.
I thought Capcom moved away from this practice of paid DLC thrown on a disc. If its on the disc...then why are we paying for it...again. And on top of that, this is the 'real' ending of the game? ...wow...just wow.
...I was really hoping for a new bulletstorm. I really don't want to play the same game I already played 5 years ago.... Come on guys, give us something new. This 'remastered' nonsense has gone on long enough. Stop trying to sell us old poop in a shiny new wrapper...
I got it on PC, Uplay no less and haven't had any issues at all. Its better in pretty much every way over the first one. The characters and story kind have that Tony Hawks American Wasteland feel to it.
I'm really enjoying it and thought that other people might too. Its pretty much everything I hoped the first one would be and man does it look gorgeous on the pc (ultra settings). I can't speak for the console versions though.
I really enjoyed No Mans Sky and am enjoying the new content. Still, I think they promised too much, and as a small team, wasn't able to accomplish everything they set out to do upon release. Some people blame them completely, but honestly, I think working with Sony was a mistake. The game became too big, too fast and they had to keep talking to keep people interested. Unfortunately, a lot of they said, wasn't in the game or didn't work the way they said it would.
Why are we hearing this from Sony and not Hello Games? Are we to believe that Hello Games can't take 20 minutes out of their day to just say hey...we're working on the stuff we left out; sorry, its on the way. I mean, how hard is that to say?
I was kind of hoping for a new L.A. Noire. I really really really loved that game.
Good write-up. I'm a c/javascript programmer and am not all that great with Assembly. I just started playing this game, and its quite difficult for me. I love the in-game manual but I feel myself jumping all over it trying to figure out how I can use bits of the examples in my own solutions to solve the problem. And in most cases, it requires a lot of trial and error because i'm not familiar with how assembly typically works, forcing me to go to an outside source as there isn't en...
Tell that to Sega and their dreamcast. There were no games ready and it became doa.
Finally..a game worth getting an xb1 for. I love this game but have no 360 :(
That is...amazing.
The Guerrilla developers are some of the best in the industry. I have all the confidence in the world that this is going to be an absolutely stunning game and I'm very much looking forward to this one.
1 reason to play on PC: No XBL/PS+ payments. You pay your internet bill and that's it.
The guy was terrible haha but the physics/force feedback looks really good.
Its obvious they need a new game engine. Some of the bugs that existed in Oblivion are still present in Fallout 4. However, because they put so much effort and work into their games and give people as much to do as possible while keeping things fresh even 100 hours in says a lot about how much they care.
I will defend them in this case because I know how much work it takes to put together even a simple game like a top down 2D shmup. Fallout 4 wasn't perfect and had qui...
The first two Forza games were awesome. Everything else after that was just...copy paste + better visuals. Forza tries to be a sim but because its on console, has to appeal to a much wider audience. I'm a racing sim fan and Forza just doesn't do it for me. Say what you will but this is my opinion and I say that Dirt Rally is more fun and challenging.
I'm not saying Forza is bad; its really awesome and looks gorgeous, but it just doesn't appeal to me anymore...
On console, the best racing games imo is Dirt Rally. If you have a wheel and a PC, check out Automobalista. Its currently my favorite Sim. Its just really really good.
I'm thinking the same thing. By the time 4K really becomes a common every day thing like HDMI did, we'll already have moved on to the next set of consoles. I also think that the next set of consoles are going to be modular in design, much like a computer, so the customer can upgrade their machine as the part become available. However, I do know that Sony/Microsoft are very much against users customizing their systems, but with Sony/Microsoft now moving towards an upgraded hardware ver...
