Bethesda has sold an insane amount of Skyrim. I know they want to keep money coming in, but this is going to get them so little, its a complete joke. They should be ashamed. I haven't looked into this story much, but if it's true, then they ashamed of this too.
The first game's story had more holes in it than a slice of swiss cheese. The environments and enemies were cool the first time through, but the story was completely incoherent. And that ending... just terrible. I'm glad they're shortening the story. Maybe it'll actually make sense this time?
I got stuck trying to find the bar in that city. I was considering giving up, but pushed on and found it. I'm very happy I did. The story gets much much better, the fights are awesome, and the last 3 or 4 chapters go so fast because it's so good. 3/4 of the game is good, but slow. The last quarter is what makes the first three quarters worth it imo.
I hope one day, you come back to this one and finish it. This game didn't feel final fantasy like, but as an open...
Ya know, the folks at Sega thought the same thing when they launched the Dreamcast. I know, this situation is a little different because you can play xbox One games on this thing, but... you get my point.
Haha, I got a good laugh out of that one, thank you.
How do you measure happiness?
Excuses..that's all I hear.
Maybe if Microsoft didn't keep cancelling their projects, they would have something to showcase. I find it hard to believe that the Xbox One X sold out. The only way I could see it actually selling out would be due to very limited quantities. They have almost nothing unique to showcase, nothing that excites me, and nothing to really look forward to. Who in their right mind would pay $500 for a console which is slightly more powerful than what they already have, but with nothing really new...
First time I've heard of a "codename" given to DLC. I'm not sure why they thought it was necessary. Do people even Halo anymore?
If sony announces the ps5 and has games to go with its new hardware...the xbox is done.
Why does the character look like they're 3ft tall? Is anyone else getting that vibe? Doesn't look bad, but then again, neither did Lords of the Fallen, and that game was a buggy mess. I have a few rules; if the game crashes or if I fall through the floor, I un-install the game and never go back. Lords of the Fallen did both. No excuse for things like that.
Xbox One X was supposed to be the most powerful console ever, yet the developers can't get their game to execute at 4k without heavily modifying their game/engine to keep the frame rate up. Not a good sign folks.
Uncle Ben once said, "With higher resolution comes greater file size." ..Or something like that. Seriously, the consoles need to come with 1tb at the very least. Games are only going to get bigger.
Can you say Dreamcast repeat? Shiny console, no games.
Honestly, Microsoft should have put the money they wasted on the Xbox one X on obtaining/developing exclusive games for their console. They have the "most powerful console ever" (personally, i think that goes to ps3) with nothing to prove just how powerful it is. Yes, the games can run at 4k... but at the same time, there's no VR, there's no guarenteed super smooth 60 fps gameplay. It's a waste of money for microsoft and the consumer and until they bring some games to th...
I have a whole collection of PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 games. It would be awesome if i could play them all on one system rather than having a console for each. But lets be real here. The more iterations of playstation we have, the more difficult to implement BC its going to become.
This guy just sounds bitter that he was the one chosen to play this game. I played it and have to agree with him though. It may have been good 10 years ago, but its pretty rough now a' days. I didn't really enjoy it but it was free so...
However, I very much dislike the fact that of all the things microsoft could have done to make the game better and push it up to today's standards, they add micro transactions. I seriously hope that nobody spends a dime.
Why do racing games need a story? Why not say..."here's a car. Go race so you can save money to upgrade your current car or buy a better car." If the game was actually good, you wouldn't need to add a "gimick" story line to feel like there's progression. Racing in and of itself has the feeling of progression when you start at the bottom and work your way up.
And then you have this pre-order nonsense. We haven't even see actual gameplay fo...
It looks good, but I'm definitely waiting a few weeks after release. I'm not a fan of buying broken games and Ubisoft has been known to release some very broken games. Also gives me time to get some first impressions :)
