I'd enjoy a turned based tactical RPG with the dragon age lore and atmosphere.
I love how Street Figher V leaves out a ton of stuff and people demand a refund. But a game like Firewatch although short is 100% quality and people want a refund.
Where do we draw the line of quality Vs. Quantity? How do we determine what is worthy of the price and what isn't?
The short answer is yes. The long answer is no, unless the game is specifically developed for the PC. The limitations of the consoles end up hurting the end product for PC gamers unless the developers work on a PC version and then port it to consoles, but in most cases, if its developed for consoles and then ported to the pc, its typically pretty terrible, but of course there are exceptions.
I enjoy old rpgs or point and click adventures where all the controls are in the mouse.
I have a 10 month old little guy and he's definitely a handful. After he goes to bed, if I'm not too tired, I'll stay up for an hour or two and play something...but..I can't do racing sims as my wheel is too loud and will wake him up. So...I haven't said bye to games, but.. its nearly goodbye to my racing sims :(
I totally agree with yo GuyFamily999, which is why I feel the difficulty should be dynamic. If you get stuck and die a few times, the difficulty automatically drops a little so you can get past. That way, there's still challenge, but you don't have to totally suffer.
Graphics are the reason consoles should not exist. If a pc can do everything better, why do we need consoles? Back in the N64, PS1 days, it made sense. PCs were nowhere near as powerful as they are today. But, with today's standards, you can get a PC with better hardware for only a few extra hundred $ than console. And with steam, you can save 50% or more on newer games, where as consoles sell them at full price most of the time, so in the long run..you actually save money with a PC.
Normally, I'm with you guys, but the graphical quality should only go up. If the game doesn't look as good as it did TWO years ago, that means that what they thought was going to be possible, isn't. So that leaves the burning question, what else did they do to this game 2 years after we first saw it?
I'm really bummed its not being made by FuturePress. I loved the quality of their Dark Souls and Dark Souls II guides. But, I enjoyed the Fallout 4 collectors guide which was made by Prima. So, we'll see.
I feel like the price is going to go down again when we get closer to the release.
Why do people write articles like this? Why would you bring out the 'flaws' of a game which hasn't even been released yet. Why not let people get hyped about a game without creating any doubt in their minds.

OOgly, great comments. I know Ubisoft has a lot of studios all over the world, but I was always under the impression that there were two main studios. One working on ...for example, Assassins Creed Revelation, while another worked on Assassins Creed III.

The more time a developer has, the more time they have to actually make changes from one iteration to the next. How do people not understand this.

I don't have an Xbox, but I do have a high end PC that can run any game ported to the PC. I've heard that Xbox is planning to have xbox live on PC, so anyone who has windows 10 and a decent pc and play not only xbox games, but play with anyone on an xbox. We'll see how that turns out, but sounds pretty awesome.
I'm pretty sure WWIII would probably hault any and all progress. In fact, they would probably stop manufacturing t.v's and consoles and start manufacturing weapons.
I'd much rather hear about gameplay and game mechanics than sexual content which lasts 30 seconds at most...
Pillars of Eternity does not belong on this list. It was my personal favorite this year because it was challenging, full of adventure with interesting and unique characters, had a fantastic story, and included combat that took me back to the Baldurs Gate era. It was an amazing game and I strongly disagree that it's overrated.
Sunset Riders was my game of the year for like a decade and I feel like nobody ever talks about it or even knows of its existence.
If there is any game that needs to be revived.. this is my top pick. Although Bushido Blade wasn't made by Konami, I'd absolutely love to see anything close to that.
Why do they immediately go to Metal Gear? They have soooo many amazing games they've created over the years that they could revive. Contra, Sunset Riders, Castlevania, Suikoden, and of course Silent Hill.
Or, you know, make something new and original? You have already tarnished your name Konami and going back to Metal Gear is only going to make it worse. Don't ruin an amazing series. End it at V.
How about they finish the story and fill in all the 1 million plot holes in the first game. I stopped playing after the DLC was released because honestly... destiny got really old really quick and I didn't want to spend another $40 for DLC when I could get a new game on steam.
