That's pretty cool. I wonder how big of a difference it is.
I'll leave my personal war politics out of this, but I fail to see how a photo op counts as genuine care and compassion for the lives of wounded United States soldiers.
I remember hearing about the love hotels on G4TV's "Icons" episode about Nintendo.
Well that blows, but I gotta wonder how much dust is considered "too dusty".
Sony's policies for broken consoles have always been really terrible though. I remember when my first PS2 broke (disc read error, exactly 1 full year after I bought it), I tried to get it fixed, but they said it would cost $200 for repairs. Just went out and bought a new one instead...for the same price.
Never been to a Gamestop, never plan on going to one. If I ever sell my old games (which I don't like doing in the first place), I use eBay. You can get what they're actually worth if you use eBay.
Funny how IGN gave it a higher score on the Wii specifically for its controls, when here they say it's extra sloppy. Don't ask me to vouch for either opinion though, I haven't played the Wii version.
It's not great, and it's not terrible. It's a mediocre sequel that coulda been much better (I have it for PS2).
No God of War II? No Super Mario Galaxy? No Assassin's Creed? No Call of Duty 4?
What a half-assed list by Spike TV...
That's sad. You're robbing yourself of a first class gaming experience.
Yeah, maybe if it wasn't DEVELOPED BY SONY. It's a first party title, not a 3rd party. No chance of it jumping off Sony hardware.
One of my favorite franchises of all time. Can't wait to see what they do with it.
GoWII ended in such an enormous and awe-inspiring cliff hanger (literally). Sad to see Cory go, but I have faith in the remaining crew. Afterall, they seem to lose their lead dev with each new title in this series, but the overall quality shows absolutely zero wear and tear as a result.
Well since N4G is allowing articles from October 2006 to count as news now, lets see if I can find some old pre-PS3/Wii launch articles to post...
"Will the 360 be able to stand up to the PS3 juggernaut this November!?!?"
"Can the Wii turn it around for Nintendo, or will it fall victim to the same sales as the GameCube?!?!"
$1,533 in shipping charges. It would probably be cheaper to rent a truck and drive to wherever this guy lives to pick the items up yourself.
Too bad he's not auctioning that Dreamcast set separately. I'd totally buy it...
Interesting, we only have the $400 40gig Spiderman 3 bundle and the $500 80gig Motorstorm bundle in the United States.
I hope these bundles make it over to America. PS3 with Ratchet or Uncharted would be great.
Wouldn't surprise me if this was true, though I deleted VG from my bookmarks awhile ago. Dropping the prices like madmen will make sales jump.
80gig w/Motorstorm for $499 is a pretty good deal.
Think of it as advertising. They're burning cash on a limited stock to get the word out about HD-DVD. Making them $99 gets people talking about it (see, look, we're talking about it).
Not too crazy of a business strategy, but nothing yet has slammed the momentum of Blu-Ray sales, so I doubt this will either.
Apparently not. My bad, wrong company.
Edit - Oh, but you can clear out the "rumored" part of your post, as well as the "they picked the winning format years ago" part.
Edit - *deletes incorrect post*
lol @ me for mixing up movie corporations.
This does sound boring, but to me it's what I expected. I mean come on, most of the footage they've released is footage of people talking to eachother. I still don't understand why people have been going crazy over this game. It has a catchy name, and good graphics, but the movies of gameplay make it look really dull.
The reason I've barely played Metal Gear Solid 3 is because the first hour I played it, it only let me play the game for about 10 minutes. The rest was cut sc...
What a mess. Looks like he took that bad boy offroading.
