Be like XP = Win
Be like Vista = Lose
Don't mess it up.
If the game's on track for a release within the next 12 - 18 months, then I don't mind how much info they give. I'm old and knowledgeable enough to sort through the PR to find the facts.
I don't want to hear about games coming out 3 - 4 years from now, with bits and pieces trickling out every so often between first glimpse and launch. For example; we shouldn't have heard about Killzone 2 so early. It's going to be a couple months shy of 4 years after the E305' trailer when the...
Yeah, if Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur IV have chugging issues, I'm gonna be really pissed off.
He's got the ego of someone who has accomplished 10x as much, yet the people who have perhaps earned that arrogant sensibility don't exercise it nearly as much as he does.
He should go back to the basics and make a Ninja Gaiden game with a camera system that doesn't seem like it was created at the dawn of 3D gaming, then he can work on his mindless trash talk towards everything even remotely resembling competition.
There's no excuse for horrible camera angles this many years after 3D gaming became the norm, especially when it had been the main criticism of the first one (and its 2 remakes).
Heh, must be laced with a virus or something. Coming from a company who considers innovation new ways to make money off of its users.
Completely agreed. Bay already ruined Transformers by turning it into "Shia LeBeouf and the GMC-bots". He'd do the same kind of nonsense with a Metroid movie. No doubt having Samus involved in some cheesy love story, since that's always a Bay movie staple.
I refuse to shop at GameStop, even though I supposedly have a pretty good one nearby (according to one of my friends who shops there). It's like Walmart to me, I just don't shop there because of their poor business practices.
I'd much rather go to Fry's so I can geek out with all kinds of other electronics as well, or shop online at Amazon/eBay.
You think people who merely say something crazy online should be thrown in jail? Pretty sad outlook, mein Fuhrer.
Rude, selfish, obnoxious, crazy... Her opinion and video may have been all of those things and more, but she doesn't deserve jail time for stating her opinion.
Weird, I went diving through my box of old video game mags today and found an Killer Instinct strategy guide. I'd like to see another one of these.
He seems more like the tacky salesman running over to you the moment you step foot in a used car lot. He lays it on too thick, making himself look like a cross between the biggest lying sack on the planet and someone completely oblivious to the world around them.
She looks infinitely better than the one used for this article. The one in the article is borderline man-face.
Cool stuff. This was one of the only 360 exclusives I really wanted to get last year, but I didn't want to buy one just for this game, and my computer is crap.
Yeah, most likely. MTV advertised the hell out of the first Gears. Gave it its own 30 minute special.
Microsoft, Gears manager, Kotaku, Joystiq, Newsweek and apparently MTV having dinner together.
Sounds like the beginning of an outlandish theory of journalistic bias against the PS3. =P
I had never been looking forward to Haze, and the demo just confirmed the averageness of the game for me. However, I've gotta wonder if it's really bad enough to deserve a 4.5.
I hate this game...
...cause I'm gonna have to get a Wii now.
Wii + HDD + Mad World = Me actually wanting a Wii.
This is just one of the negative effects we're all going to have to deal with, thanks to gaming becoming more mainstream. It's only going to get worse now that gaming is big business. When big money consumes something, it always drags along big bullsh!t to the party.
Kinda messed up. Essentially diminishing Vista users into guinea pigs, and expecting them to upgrade again next year.
