Zero sucked. It's sitting in my closet inside my GameCube box.
Kudos on your website growth, but this really doesn't belong here.
$899 is the personal seller price, not the Amazon price. It's currently sold out at Amazon.
There's a Metal Gear Solid 4 marketing juggernaut? I wasn't even aware there was a MGS4 ad campaign, seeing as how I just saw my first commercial today. If this is a juggernaut, then Halo 3's ad campaign was riding in alongside the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Monthly.
I read on the official PlayStation forums that you get Calling All Cars if you buy the annual subscription today, but I can't find a source on that so I'm not positive.
He wasn't always like that. He was one of my favorites, but as X-Play changed for the worse, so did he.
A billboard in Rainbow 6 is far different than a billboard in GTA.
Part of the GTA charm is the humorous product line they include in their pop culture satire, poking fun at real life products. I'd much rather see an Excelsior Extreme 9 running down the side of a building in Star Junction than a Gilette.
I've always said the day I get a pop-up ad in a video game is the day I stop gaming past that generation. I was born in the United States, so I'm used to the un-lubed eye sodomy sponsored by capitalism, but I'm drawing the line at my gaming.
One of the things I really respect Rockstar for is never using real life products in their games, when I'm sure companies are banging on their doors non-stop trying to pay their way in via billboards and such.
One of the reasons...
How did E3 degrade into such a mess that a person like this would even have anything to do with the event, let alone be a keynote speaker?
The pastor this guy is agreeing with is the same guy who said Hitler was a mere hunter, doing god's work. He also believes hurricane Katrina was caused by god because of gays in New Orleans, and supports Israel so when armageddon comes, he can convert them to christianity. Anyone following a hate mongering lunatic such as John Hagee needs to...
Seriously. I have Time Warner in Los Angeles, after they ate up our old ISP (Adelphia). If they try to pull this kind of nonsense here, I'm moving to something else.
If they love him half as much as he loves them, I can see it happening.
I'm interested in seeing Tecmo's response to this, and whether or not the lawsuit has any legs to stand on.
It's weird how Sony seems as if they still don't understand how the American market works.
American consumers (the typical ones) buy things they see on TV. Regardless of the quality, usefulness, or any other possible measurement of whether or not it's worth their money. Show it often enough, and people will buy it. Microsoft understands this completely, as shown by their full-on assault of Halo 3 advertising. Master Chief was on the soda cans in my fridge, the gaming websites...
Exactly. I have July's EGM sitting right in front of me. They say the review is coming in the next issue after MGS4's launch, when they can talk about everything, including the things Kojima doesn't want them to talk about.
This should be handled seriously by N4G staff. Submitting favorable articles for your console of choice is one thing, but completely making up news to make it look good is not only obsessive insanity, but it should be treated as an infraction resulting in an IP ban from the site, or any other form of permanent "GTFO" status.
Most likely. Either it's just a mistake or they forgot to add the "2009".
That particular spartan is certainly my action game favorite. Threesomes and deicide. That's how he rolls.
I want PS1 games. It's so rare to get a new one in the store.
This update was pretty dismal. Reminds me of that awful EU update awhile back, where they got nothing but 2 videos.
@2cents
Same here. I rushed it for the key, and in doing so I killed it for myself. The game is really hard to have fun with now.
@1.8
You don't have to point fingers at the 360's storage limitations. The Housers already did it themselves, claiming the next GTA might not make it to the 360 for that reason.
Overall, I liked the game a lot, but the level of fun in single player really jumped off a cliff after 100%ing it. I've also got a nagging feeling that something is missing. The endings just didn't climax like I thought they would, leaving me with a rather empty feeling. Not the best GTA,...
Well, if Amazon selling out of the MGS4 80gig bundles within hours (or was it minutes?) of availability is any indication, I think it's going to move a console or two.
